Joyce (beagleandbooks) So, it's Friday night and I opted to stay home. I have been delaying cleaning out my DVR for quite some time now and decided if I don't do it today, I'll never do it. One of the movies I've saved is Sleepless in Seattle and it amazes me how I've never seen this movie. I'm HUGE Meg Ryan/Tom Hanks fan in the 90s circa. Now, I'm fully aware that this is a total "chick flick" but I love it. I wish Meg Ryan thought twice about injecting her lips and ruining her career and continued to make these movies. I have probably seen "You've Got Mail" a trillion times. I just can't get enough. One thing I did catch on is David Hyde Pierce (Niles from Fraiser) speaks about how dreadful Seattle is and whoops...Where did he live in the sitcom Fraiser? Haha that made me chuckle. It's ok if I stand alone on that one.

This is my random thought for the evening.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I hope to get some reading in tonight.

Kerri Loved your random thoughts....totally agree with the Meg Ryan comments...lol...I was just thinking the same things about her the other day. Hope you enjoyed the movie!

Kerri Hey....what happened to The Thirteenth Tale??? Did it get thrown into the corner for Sleepless in Seattle?? Just kidding... Instead of dinner and a movie, you can do the "movie and a book." A really great Friday night would include all three! Hopefully that was the case.

Joyce (beagleandbooks) The Thirteenth Tale was my movie companion. It new that Sleepless has been sitting in my dvr for about a month and was gracious enough to let me spend time with it...only of course, if I promised it some quality bonding time afterward. :)

I must get back to it before it thinks I'm taking advantage of its generosity.

Have a great night, Kerri :)

Kerri Same to you, Joyce! If I can peel myself away from goodreads, I'm off to read Grapes of Wrath.
