They're very different, and I love both, but The Hunger Games is a better series
I love the Hunger Games. It has action (a good one) and romance (I love that part) and humor (heh, I love those parts) and it leaves us thinking of humanity against survival. Epic novel thats so epic, I invented a new word for it: epicsome (I know, not that epic for an epicness novel XD) I'm sorry though, for Twilight fans, its just I feel Twilight doesn't have all this...sorry.(Sorry, I started babbling about it again -shoot!)

I can still say that I love Twilight best after having read all the books in both series as well as having seen the movies.
Is that actually a question that is seriously being put up to debate? Twilight is a love story about a stupid teen girl who has no respect for herself and is completely dependent on boys. The Hunger Games has a strong female lead role, Katniss is independent, courageous, and smart. The writing in The Hunger Games is so so so much better, also The Hunger Games is not just some stupid love story made for teen girls, the love story between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale is only made to bring a larger more diverse audience. The main theme of these books is humanity; where humans stand between good and evil. IT IS TRYING TO SEND A MESSAGE and so many people reading them are only taking away the most trivial points, reading just to find out which boy Katniss will choose. GUESS WHAT! THEY ALL DIE BECAUSE HUMANS SUCK. (Just kidding..) But really, it drives me nuts. P.S. Vampires have been so overdone, in all the worst ways.

You can't really compare them at all.. Twilight is a fantasy book about vampires and werewolves and stuff. The Hunger Games is a dystopian book about rebllion and evil governments and stuff. they're not theso you can't compare same them!
I think a great deal of the tendency for comparison between the two books/movies continues to occur more because of the popularity and sensationalism of these two great works. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone could just agree to respect each other's opinions and feelings in this great forum where we can all come to share our thoughts.

um. THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!!!! I apologize to all Twilight fans, but I personally can't stand Twilight.
The Hunger Games is about a strong female character having to fight to the death on live TV, and her rebelling against the evil President Snow and the Capitol. With a love story on the side.Twilight is about a weak female character who moves to a rainy town, falls in love with a mythical creatures, and when he leaves her, she is willing to do life-threatening things just so she can see a vision of him.
When Katniss lost the one she loved, she fought her hardest to get him back. Bella just kind of sad around feeling depressed. Then jumped off a cliff.
I'd like to see Bella put into the arena.

HUNGER GAMES for sure!!!!!!!! Twilight is still good but Bella may possibly be the most annoying person ever. If you remove the love triangle from twilight it is about a girl that moves to a town were it rains a lot, if you remove the love triangle from the hunger games it is about a televised fight to the death. Which one sounds better to you?
Read both -- Twilight was mindless fluff, but I needed a distraction. Hunger Games was well written, but depressing as hell. Even with that, I choose Hunger Games.

I love both Hunger Games and Twilight but so far I am leaning towards Hunger Games but I have not yet finished the Twilight series so I do not know yet but Twilight is an amazing book to.

Hunger games! Katniss is so strong and inspirational but Bella is just kinda sad and let's everyone run her life.
Ridiculous. No contest! The Hunger Games is a compelling action read with a bit of stupid romance on the side and Twilight is a terrible, abusive love story with a little bad action to try and bait the good readers to fall to them.
Both. I'd rather take both and die than have to choose...

I enjoyed the Hunger Games far more than Twilight. But in all honesty, there shouldn't be a comparison at all. They aren't the same kind of story. Twilight is 100% a tween love story, it's about as deep as spit. The Hunger Games is a dystopian story about a girl trying to make a better life for her family. While both stories have a "love triangle" that's about as far as similarities go. Nothing else in either story is the same except the love triangle. And while through all four books, Bella is still conflicted with her feelings on who she likes more, Katniss from the start doesn't really want either of them. She harbors some feelings for Gale, its mostly from just being around him and him being useful with helping carry game home after hunting. And eventually she falls in love with Peeta. But their love triangle isn't what that story is about. I may not like Twilight, but to compare it to the Hunger Games isn't fair. They are like apples and Okra. Not the same thing at all.
Always the hunger games.The Hunger Games is set in a futuristic Dystopian society which captivates the reader from the start and allows them to compare it to modern day. To me, Katniss is a stronger and more likeable character then Bella. For example, when Katniss' dad dies she finds a way to feed her family while Bella doesn't want to go to college and focuses her attention on two boys(a vampire and werewolf) Yes, Katniss is stuck between two boys but she doesn't let them determine who she is. Katniss is willing to fight to the death for her younger sister. Gale and Peeta are not absolutely obsessed with Katniss while Edward and Jacob treat Bella like a trophy. Gale and Peeta love Katniss for WHO she is. There is something for everyone in the Hunger Games, Romance, Violence, Family, Friendship and even politics. All I see in Twilight is unhealthy romance and an encouragement; if you fall in love to forget about everything else because your love for that person is the most important thing in the world. I also think that The Hunger Games inflicts much more emotion in the reader than Twilight. The Hunger Games is a gripping page turner and well Twilight's not. (No offense Twilight fans.)

sorry, but this poll or whatever is just stupid. both are two VERY different kind of books and the stories are way too different. why are we even comparing them? it just have no sense at all. to me, both are amazing

EWWW... how can anyone even compare Twilight with HUNGER GAMES? I started to read Twilight and couldn't read more than 10 pgs whereas I couldn't keep the Hunger Games books' down for a second!Hunger Games all the way!!
