I thought I probably wouldn't have read anything from this list, but lo and behold...I have read The Shell Seekers. What a wonderful story set in England, capturing the life of Penelope through her eyes and the eyes of her children. This was made into a movie starring the one and only Angela Lansbury (you know...Jessica Fletcher!)
