I am going to try and watch this film this week.
I have tracked it down at my local rental shop, so... I will post as soon as I can. :)
I watched Duplicity back when we first discussed the idea, so my memory of it is almost nil. I can't say I cared for it though. At the time, as I recall, I considered it a fast paced [sort of:] thriller. But in retrospect the story line was thin, and it seemed to rely on the jumbling of time lines for uniqueness.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when an author or film maker does that sort of thing, but not in this case. Although I was clear of the what, when and who of the film, it simply did not stay with me. There is no residual.....boy, "that was great!", for me at all.

i found the idea that a corporation had replaced evolution....very interesting to the point where the corporation even controlled mating of the humans love life! It's not a science fiction movie at all...but parts of this concept of the over seeing all-powerful corporation seemed very sci-fi....
We are watching...way behind 'schedule" today...I hope Suzanne or Andrew are kicking around...anyone else?
This movie has a lot of "battle of the sexes" and old-fashioned screwball comedy just under the surface. And it's a great twist on the genre of "spy film".
