It is not the ISBN of the book it says it is, the VOR-game edition by Baen books has another ISBN. furthermore, US ISBN's do not start with 999. And the only place the ISBN can be found is on amazon.com, where one seller has the book available. All other data confirm with the Baen book edition, except for the ISBN. Sure sounds to me as a typing error of some kind.
For now the book is combined with all the other VOR-game books. I have never deleted books before, and I do not like to do so, but as far as I could see, no one had this one on their bookshelves, and no reviews were present.

Actually, I found it last night on a foreign-language site (don't remember which one now), which would make sense. It's certainly true that it wouldn't be a US ISBN, but I am unconvinced that it's not an import edition.

And there is no other 1990 edition of this book on the official Bujold website, while all other English language editions are there. (and all foreign language books up till about 2004 or so).
US publishers frequently license limited non-US editions to be printed elsewhere. (Sometimes the editions are UNlicensed as well.)

But that does not answer my original question: does anything need to happen on Goodreads with this particular book?
"Books in Print" might have more definitive information.
has a non-existing ISBN, but someone at amazon.com is selling a book with this ISBN. Obviously a typing error. I have combined the book with the correct edition and added a library note. Should I do anything else? Can I do anything else?
