This thread will explain all moderator responsibilities and power.

Moderators:

-Ensure that all material is related to the thread it is posted in. If it is not then click reply at the bottom of the post, and inform the member where their post would be most appropriate.

-Make sure members are following the rules. If any member has been informed of the rules and warned, but continue to break the rules, bring this to the attention of the head moderator, who will decide whether or not to delelte the member.

-Moderators will be active contributors to the group providing their insight and knowledge on topics.

-Moderators will also help members with problems they may encounter in the group.

I think that might draw a lot of people in. Everyone knows facebook but I don't think Goodreads has a high profile. I would not have know of it had it not been for a friend who suggested it to me.

I found Goodreads when I was looking for a book review. I think if we went on Facebook that we might attract more people. I'll get started on it this evening. I have to do some yard work first.

I was thinking that we should have a vote for what the next group read will be. But we will need a few books for the polls. Any suggestions?
