What do you do when....

I just go back from the beginning and re-write the whole thing, if I think the core plot is a good idea and it's just the writing that's letting it down.

And everyone says my stories are so good, when I think not.Shoot, I posted a story I started writing last night... who knows how bad it is?
I don't mind it, as long as it isn't all like "RAWR!!! I HATE YOU AND WANT TO THROW YOU OFF A CLIFF!!! YOU'RE THE REASON THE WORLD IS A MESS!!!" type of criticizing.
Haha, Talia, you're just downright awesome.
I like randomness too. I'm playing a random game called post something in every single thread. It's fun!
ugh that happens to me all the time. Once, I had been writing one for two years and I got to almost 200 pages, and I read one of my favourite books, and I found out that it was almost identical to my story! So, I know this is hard, but move on. Forget about the story you're writing, and write a new one. And I guarantee you, it will be LOTS better then you're previous one, and you'll get to learn from your mistakes and improve on them. Good luck!
Leave it for six months, then go back and reread it again. Maybe you'll find it's not so terrible after all. Then, also, you are sane enough to edit it and make it an okay story. Or possibly even good.
I have a new what do you do, because I have issues with this part of my story, like how to continue it. What do you do when you sit next to your friend, who you've had a crush on for over a year, and you are too shy to say anything to him without blushing?
that sounds cool. Kinda like how watson says stuff about sherlock holmes all the time. As long as you make it not confusing and not boring, I'd definitely read it. :)

That sounds really creative and unique.
