2. I signed up a month ago at my daughter's insistence. I'm not very involved with it. I don't understand the fascination.
3. I prefer cats because they are independent but I have owned several dogs. Favorite breed - Australian Shepherd. They are so smart and loyal.

2. Prometheus. I did a paper on him in German class and loved the idea of this god forming man in his image and coming down to give him fire and teach him how to live and survive. Read Goethe's poem. It's great!

Lorenzo Escobar why would you make that punishable by death, no one deserves to die, not for any reason at all. because if someone dies then there is no chance of redemption for that person, it's really really sad.

Oh it's fine. I'm half Mexican and I grew up in midwest United States, I know all about racism. I've heard it all, but I forgive the purpotrators, they are just ignorant to other ethnicities, it's not their fault. I don't wish harm upon them at all, but I understand if you do. You don't have to appologize, we all have our own opinions on things and it's cool. ;)

2) I think I've only broken one heart. I've had mine broken at least 5 times.

2) I can't say that I have, I did spend one christmas with just my second husband one year. I missed my kids.

No, I haven't been back to Portland since I left about 4-5 years ago. I send the wife and child to see the relatives every year or so, but I have yet to join them.

Adam Wilson | 236 comments 1. Hard one. King scared me the most, but that's because I read most of his stuff when I was young. Now I would say it is a close call between Bentley Little and John Saul. They are totally different but both chilling authors and they don't get the credit they deserve.
2. I think that King's first collection, Night Shift, is the best, but I haven't read all that many. Peaceable Kingdom by Jack Ketchum is my second favorite and I'm reading Little's Collection now and loving it.
3. I don't really know this one. I need to read Lovecraft.

Iamthez | 23 comments 1. Stephen King's "The Dark Half". The eyeball scene was so amazing, I actually read it out loud to my friends in the cafeteria in my middle school. Lunch time probably wasn't the best time to get into that though..
2. I don't like audio books. Don't know why, just don't. I used to have a tape of spanish bedtime stories when I was a kid, but that's all.
3. Toss up between Survivor and Battle Royale.

StephanieT | 875 comments 1) a Volvo (when my dad had one), a Jaguar (when I worked at a gas station and someone left it to be fixed and we went joyriding in it), and a Volkswagon Jetta (a guy was showing his off to me and let me drive it, I forgot I had a screw driver in my backpocket, not so good for his leather seat, oops).
2) no, I like my hips and tailbone intact, thank you.
3) no, but I watched a tournament about ten years ago.
