2. Myself. I have a controlling mom who is culturally different and a stepdad who is distant. I was trained to be self-sufficient when my mom was a single mom working from 8am to midnight in Vietnam. I'm the oldest and have designated myself as the caretaker of my siblings. So it's a habit for me to help but not ask for help.

1. Since health insurance is and will be mostly controlled by the states, I would remove any state legislatures who are not into health care for everyone and replace them with those who feel that everyone should have health care.

2. The war in Afghanistan is starting to look like another Vietnam. The U.S. Is not winning against the pockets of hidden terrorists, lives are lost, money is needlessly pumped into a losing war. The U.S. needs to get out of Afghanistan and put their energy elsewhere, like helping against the genocides in Africa.

3. Healthcare at the state level, especially the states that do not provide health care to people in need. I would also reform laws to help with child care since most families have to be two income. European countries, such as France, have great child care packages, including time off to be with children, why not the U.S.? The U.S. is so backwards and narrow-minded in do many ways compared to their European counterparts. The U.S. method is to work youself to death, no one to care for your children, and no health care for those who can't afford it.

*Good luck on your divorce, Brainy. I just received a phone call from my closest sister that she has breast cancer that has been there for a year and has spread to her lymph node. She's too young, too. Keep everything in perspective. It could be worse. She has a 1 and a 2 year old to care for.

1.When I found out my stepfather was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma all I could do at first was cry. Never in front of him. But with the support of my family we all took it day by day.

I have to balance it out with this custody battle I'm in the middle of. I just breathe deeply every second and realize that the world is constantly changing with new facets revealing itself often. It's a great mental meditation that helps you to not get entrenched too deeply in a situation so that you can keep your balance.
