The Immortal series by Kresley Cole I believe is up to seven full length novels and not one of them are 'bad' reads. This is one series I get AS SOON AS it is released.
Enjoy! I know you will.

Sorry eveyone but I'm confussed here. I am not sure what actually comes first. The first full length book is A Hunger Like No Other, is that correct? It is listed as book one on Amazon but not on Goodreads, hence my confussion! And The Warlord Wants Forever is a short story from the anthology.
I thought that short stories in anthologies were usually extra to the main books and did not have to be read? (like the Sookie ones)
Someone who has read the books do we actually start with the short story or the first full book? There were confusing comments in the suggestions thread some saying to read it, others that it was not necessary??
Sorry again, I don't mean to mess things up!

Thanks Danielle.
So I'm correct in saying that The Warlord Wants Forever is a short story that introduces the Immortals Ater Dark series. But that the first proper book in the series is A Hunger Like No Other?
Should we therefore be reading the short story? Is this easy to get hold off?
Or do we go with the first full length book and catch up on the short story later as I saw in someones review the events take place at the same time.

Is anyone reading the novella? I just started it and like it a lot so far. Decided I would read this as well as A Hunger Like No Other (which I am still waiting to be delivered).

I have just fnished reading The Warlord Wants Forever which I have enjoyed. Really looking forward to the first full length book A Hunger Like No Other now, it should be good :) I found the story between Wroth and Myst interesting and it seemed to cover quite a alot of ground in 113 pages yet didn't feel rushed. I found their relationship dynamic to be unsusual.

I have just started A Hunger Like No Other and am really enjoying it so far. Think I will like this book as I already like the world it is set in after reading The Warlord Wants Forever.

Leah -- thank you for the link. Just downloaded it and hoping to transfer it my Kindle. :)

Its just that the first book in the series is supposed to draw me in and this didn't. Emma just kept flip flopping and I didn't like that. At times she seemed weak. then she was strong again.
She likes him, then she doesn't. Then near the end she is in love with Lykae..
I don't buy it.

I liked how Emma went from wimp to chopping the king of the vampires (her father) into three pieces! She definately acquired a back bone in these books, even if she did give into Lachlain, but who wouldn't he is a very sexy Lykae!

Got a spoiler post? Please put it in the **spoilers** thread for this book so anyone who hasn't finished the book yet can choose to read them or not. Thanks!
(This seems to be the first book in the series but there is also a short story in an anthology, "The Warlord Wants Forever" I saw in the comments on the poll this can be read online. Anyone?
