how can i forget my first day at university.when u entered in univesity u were too young and also shying.In our university ragging with new comers is allowed totally. Our seniors locked all new comers in a room after that they call each student infront and said him that stood on to the desk and start dancing they putoff our shirts and also put water on us.After that they took out our all pocket money.That was too much bad experience during first day at university.

What about U?;

Alien Citizen | 1 comments Syed, what age are you when you start university? Your experiences sound like high school students here rather than college/university students, unless they were fraternity members. By university, you mean post-secondary school...right?

Fortunately, I never had such an experience in college. I was really excited to start. However, the orientation on the first day was badly organized and several students and I had no idea where our schedules were or where we were supposed to go. I ended up having to walk through the rain to the administration office where the dean of the faculty and some other people in the president's office took pity on me, wet and lost, and printed out my schedule.

Héctor I am not a student but I feel me as a student.
I entered the University of Buenos Aires in 1984 at 17 years old. There, there is no rite of access. Everything is enough informal. It was a beautiful experience and I had the luck to find good professors.

laila | 1 comments I never forget my first university day! It was really stressful and at the same time exiting. So early in the morning I woke up but more late than when my clock alarmed me. having no time to do my affairs I just could iron my clothes very fast and leave home without breakfast or even without putting a sole notebook in my bag! My brother accompanied me in order to make me familiar to the way because my university is far from our house and I didn’t know that regions well. I didn’t pass a good time in metro because it was very crowded. After lots of unforgettable happening we reached at the university. I was late for the class in the first session! I ran to the office and asked where my class was. It was in the lab, on second floor. Trying to compensate my tardiness I was running in the stairs while I tripped in a funny manner! Finally I found the lab and entering the class, I just noticed a so big lab with lots of bookshelves set around, some students sitting down and a professor speaking a strange language. I got a bad surprise! Because by then I wasn’t familiar to French language( which is my subject) at all and seeing that condition I thought that certainly other students had attended in classes to get familiar with it. So I took my seat. The professor continued without even one Persian word. She was trying to use simple words which were near to English language. After some time I could set myself in the current of class, understand her a little bit and even speak some few words in French 
After the class we the students made a brief introduction to eachother and then I noticed that no one knew French, just like me. to cut a long story short, after passing so much new, exiting and even funny events (when I look at them now) I reached back at home in the evening, too tired and pitiful. My parents were waiting for me and they hugged and kissed me as if I was the winner of a conflict! Haha…
