Idiots. I wonder if they did it to impress their girlfriends. "Hey babe, I got you a piece of Stonehenge!" I don't remember what city it was, but two guys stole two koalas from a zoo and gave them to their girlfriends as gifts. A-holes.

Rajani Let's think Picnic! This is what we need...

1 - Plates, Napkins, cups, utensils, blankets to sit on
2 - Drinks
3 - Chips&Dip/Snacks/Appetizers
4 - Mains
5 - Sides/Salads
6 - Desserts

Some picnic recipe ideas: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/et_pa...

You can't even get to Stonehenge at night! WTF?

message 4: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (rachel652) | 8 comments I love mysteries, and especially series. I also enjoy reading the books in order! I live in Israel and can find books either in used book stores or on line. How do I get a list of a specific author's books? I am interested in Reginald Hill - Dalziel and Pascoe mysteries.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, I wasn't willing to hop the fence and dodge the guards...I suppose where there is a will, there is, in fact, a way. Still, what is the point exactly? No one is going to believe them, if they are doing it to impress. "I've got a piece of Stonehenge!", "Yeah, well, I've got a piece of the Cross of Christ!". What other purpose can there be? It isn't as if the stones themselves have some mystical power, or the Druids would have left them in Wales and gone there to be with them! In that day and age it would have been a hell of a lot easier to relocate than move those ENORMOUS stones 150 miles!

Lastly, it's amazing how selfish people can be...as if it's all about "them"!

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) You could try the website Stop, You're Killing Me ( http://www.stopyourekillingme.com/) which seems to put series books in the right order. The front page of the website says they have over 2500 authors and 28,000 titles listed.

The Dalziel and Pascoe books seem to start with A Clubbable Woman (1970).

Okay, one more thing...I think they should electrify the fence! It'd serve em right. I think they should electrify it, and not post that it is, in fact, electrified! :)

Of course, the Brits would never do that, human rights BS or something. Do you know that if you put razor wire or any kind of spikes at the top of the fence/wall on your back garden (in UK) and a burglar hurts himself/herself attempting to get into your back garden, he/she can sue you? Pfft! I found that amazing when I lived there. In my dream world, I have all sorts of cool traps and things for burglars! I'd so get sued, but I don't live in England anymore...Woohoo!!

Fucking asstards. This is Stonehenge, for fuck's sake. Respect its' greatness, and leave it the fuck alone.

RandomAnthony C'mon. What happened to hanging out in the 7-11 parking lot and getting high? If it was good enough for me at sixteen, it's good enough for today's kiddies.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

RA, sophomore year, the wood fort at Gammons Park...this guy tells me that the longer I hold in the hit, the better the high. I wake up with everyone staring down at me, it seems I held my breath till I passed out! :) Exactly!
