I know the show is totally hyping him for some reason (is ABC affiliated with any of Levy's shows?) with the judges' constant praise and the audience always going ga-ga over him. I do think he's a good dancer, but I think Katherine is a better dancer, she just doesn't appear to have the fan base and the constant judges support.
I am sooooooo happy Donald Driver and Pita are still in. Go Pack!
I'm really torn about who I want to win. I think these four might be the best final four ever, or at least in a long time. I'm delighted that Donald is still in it, too.

I am with you Lee. I don't care for William. I would like to see Katherine win, but I don't think she has the fan base.I think Donald probably has the fan base, but is he good enough?
I like Maria, but I know she has been up and down and is injured.
I would like Katherine-1 and Maria-2.

I sure hope Donald and Pita can make it through. Its pretty obvious who the panels favorite is. I am so proud of Donald Driver. Was great to see the Packers backing him last night. God Aaron...you still are gorgeous.! Go D O N A L D !!
I hope Katherine didn't hurt her back too badly - she wasn't able to smile for the rest of the show.
I felt so badly for Katherine! That was awful!!! She did look to be quite ashen and unable to keep up her usually cheerful smile. Poor thing. She handled it with such grace, but I could see she was really hurting. I hope she can continue. I thought William had a good night last night. He is growing on me. I try not to let the judges obnoxious bias influence me against him, especially since I'm pretty sure he'll be in the final!
Maria does such a great job getting into the character of the dance.
And Donald seems like a class act. His back story was inspiring and it's great to see he has been with his wife so long. I personally think he is the weakest dancer of the bunch (technically) but he has a great spirit and performance quality and in any other season would probably be the best or second best. It's just such a tough competition this time around.
I can't stand this. How can Katherine still be on?
I was so shocked that Maria and Derek were eliminated, especially after the great dances they did on Monday. I had decided that they deserved to win it all. I don't know who to root for now. Really disappointed.
I was disappointed it was not Katherine. I am very glad it was not William. I did think Peta and Donald's western dance was very good. I still think Katherine was a better dancer.
I was actually happy with Donald and Peta winning. I think he was the most versatile of the bunch, and I loved his western dance, best free style I've seen in a while.
William actually grew on me throughout the competition. I think Katherine was the best overall dancer and such a sweetheart. And Donald had a great personality and, while perhaps not the best dancer, still did a great job. I was happy with the finale (well, I thought Maria was good, too--but really it was anyone's game) and loooved Gladys coming back to sing :-)
So thrilled her from "Packer Nation" country that Donald and Pita won. What a great season this was. They were all great. Bring it home Donald!!
I really liked Gladys song, very emotional for the dancers. I wonder if the pro athletes have a little advantage (haven't about half of the winners been football players?)

Isn't this All Star Season AMAZING!!!! I mean the dancing is so excellent. I can't believe how Gilles was able to do the Bollywood number the other night as an amateur. And I thought the disco routine was really fun too.
Who are your favourites?
They are all sooo good. I have split my votes very thin almost every time. I think it could come down to Shawn and Gilles again. Sabrina and Melissa are certainly contenders though. They are all so good.

Does anyone like Kelly? During the last show, it looked like she and Val(?) where developing some kind of relationship. Whew! The chemistry between those two is pretty strong.
Yes, indeed - I wonder if they are now a "couple". They certainly stayed in character throughout the entire show.I think the Bollywood was my favourite dance, but Derrek and Shawn are so incredibly athletic, and I love his choreography. Will miss him next year.

But I think Shawn is stronger than ever this year with both her personality and her dancing. I agree Melissa and Sabrina are also very good. It's such an entertaining season. Even though Kirstie isn't the strongest dancer, I always enjoy her banter with Maks.

The chemistry between those two is pretty strong."Well, she isn't my favorite as either personality or dancer, but I do think some of the clips with her and Val have been the most entertaining (the water-balloon bra!) and they do seem to have a special chemistry (relationship???) I thought their contemporary dance was excellent!

Is this his last season, or is he just taking a sabbatical? I think his choreography is amazing and always gets so much from his partners.
I read or heard somewhere that Derek won't be back next year. Whether it's a sabbatical or not I don't know. But he will be missed!

Not sure if any of you are Tristan fans (I love him!) but here's a cute little interview where he tours the studio and you get a few "behind the scenes" rehearsal tidbits. I agree. It all felt just a bit too... practiced, or something. I'm not sure if it was genuine or if they were just doing it for the ratings. I am glad Melissa won. Shawn was amazing but I thought they should have played by the rules at the end and I also thought Melissa was excellent and it was nice for her to win since she hadn't won yet -- and also for Tony to win. He's had some pretty crummy partners (personality-wise, not just dance-wise!) and it was nice to see him enjoying himself and his partner and being able to dance and choreograph to show more of his talent.
