I love doing that Karen! Don't do what I did on one of my reads and let the time expire on me before I was able to finish the book, I was really bummed out when that happened. I should check that out as well.

message 253: by Suellen (new)

Suellen (suvata) I'm reading Secret Between Us by Barbara Delinsky. Not my usual type of book but it's pretty good so far.

It is fun! The book is good but also a long read. I think it will take me at least 3 more visits to finish it. :) Good thing the free smoothie will be there waiting!

message 255: by Trish (new)

Trish (bowedbookshelf) Just started I Live in the Future by Nick Bilton and am loving it. It is so exciting to read someone who has a grip on the changes we are living through now. Sometimes it all seems a mystery.

message 257: by Chris (new)

Chris | 1 comments I am currently reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. It's good, but I don't think it's as gripping as The DaVinci Code. I would like to read a David Sedaris book next, but I am disappointed that none of his books are lendable.

I read that title recently and thought it was good, but you're right. It isn't as good as The DaVinci Code or Angels & Demons.

Hi Chris, Have you checked your local library for lendable ebooks? I saw 5 David Sedaris books available at my Library2go.

Laura K Last night, I started reading Mistress of Rome on my Nook.

message 277: by Kristi (new)

Kristi I am reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

message 278: by April (new)

April (flipflop1117) Right now, I am reading The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner (it's book 2 in the Maze Runner series) and Unwind (Unwind, #1) by Neal Shusterman

Up next are I Am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1) by Pittacus Lore and If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman

Maze Runner came highly recommended to me. I can't say if I liked book 1 or not, lol. It was way beyond my realm of understanding... but it was intesting enough for me to want to keep reading to find out what happens and maybe an explanation of all the crazy stuff that happens. I just started Unwind, which also came recommended to me, and the idea seems just disturbing enough to catch my interest!

message 279: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 29 comments I am nearly through the first book in the Hunger Games trilogy and I LOVE IT! Such a good book if you like stories about dystopian societies. I downloaded a ton of free e-books from B&N due to the thread that's available in this group, so I'm in reading material for at least a month!

message 286: by Donnajo (new)

Donnajo I hate to say the same two books I've been reading for what it seems like forever plus a few of those romance free ones stuck in. Not that you can even call them a book maybe a short story.

message 291: by Marné (new)

Marné (heylucy) Ha ha Michelle, please post your review, I'd love to read it too! I actually made it through the whole first book, but could never bring myself to read the rest because it was so bad. I love this explanation of Twilight: http://theoatmeal.com/story/twilight (warning: some bad language)

message 292: by Donnajo (new)

Donnajo I'm finally getting alittle caught up just reading the short essay type books I downloaded when I was in B&N. I figure out least that is something.
