Its not my favorite. The second book I had to stop reading. The third book has a little bit more of a story. I am not really a fan

A lot of people enjoy the series and I too read it for the hype. I have to admit E.L. James is a genius by dropping the books back to back so quickly.

Read them, and tell me what you think when you are done

This series is great...I'm not accustomed to reading 1000 pages but it's worth it at the end. When I got to Dance of Dragons, I was getting kind of antsy ... I think because I reading those books one after another. Now that it's been a year since Book #5, can't wait for the next two books to come out. Have you been watching the series?

I'm about a third of the way through it. It's an excellent book. It shows Germany during Hitler's consolidation of power through a very different viewpoint than I've read before.

I'm looking forward to Larson's The Devil in the White City Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America by Erik Larson after reading this.
