I really enjoyed When the Killing's Done. If you are a T.C. Boyle fan, I don't think you'll be disappointed. (Have you read The Tortilla Curtain?) Lots of irony, a character I despised and a really relevant topic.

Am also really liking Ten Thousand Saints. Can't say why exactly though. Very drugs/heavy metal oriented.

I have read The Tortilla Curtain as well as many of his other books, all of which I have found entertaining and extremely well written. I was intrigued when I read about Ten Thousand Saints because of the mention of the music scene, but I don't really like heavy metal so this will probably move down on the "to read" list. thanks!

It's such a fablulous series! I've been waiting so long for
A Dance with Dragons (A Song of Ice and Fire, #5) by George R.R. Martin to come out (about 5 years!) Not sure why it took so long. I'd almost given up. Now that I have it, though, I think I'm going to wait until there is a release date for the next one, because I'm going to have to reread the whole series. Not a hardship!
