What's the protocol for combining editions with two different subtitles? I'm looking at Banvard's Folly here: I thought I'd successfully combined the versions with the different subtitles (they're clearly the same book) but I can't see all four editions when I click on the title. They're still separated out by subtitle. What happens in this situation--do you let two variants stand, go with the first edition, or let them duke it out in your database celebrity-death-match style?

If I knew them to be the same book, I would combine them. If I didn't, I would leave them separate -- they may be different volumes of a single series, or otherwise not the same book.
