Need someone witha faster coputer than mine to fix this one up:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/66...
No ISBN, with bookcover. Description is more like a review.
I think it can be deleted: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/82...
As can the author: W. Shakespeare - Ed Franck

Laura, that looks like an adaption of Romeo and Juliet -- unless there's already a version of that adaption in GR, it's unique and should stay.I've corrected the author.

Got the placeholder.
Please delete these two duplicates:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/72...

Thanks!
I'm not sure what's going on with this book but it has two Kindle versions with different aisn numbers and both have Amazon as the source. One I can find on Amazon, the other I can't. Should there be two versions?Lost Star
Usually means one was in use and has been replaced by the other. Sometimes they have different publishers or covers or other data, and then I'd leave them. Since in this case they have the same cover and the same publisher, I'd merge the two editions to the one with the current ASIN.
Laura, please be very careful when working with books pre-1960s. They will never have ISBNs unless they've been reprinted more recently. In this case, the editors of these anthologies were credited as "Anonymous", so I've moved them over to that author profile.
Cait, I didn't mean to be careless - really thought these weren't books. Wouldn't dream of deleting one myself (not even possible, is it?), I'm too new into this to do so, I think. I want to make an effort improving the database, not make a mess of things.
In general: it's hard to get everything at the same time - being a new librarian. Although I have and read the Manual frequently, it doesn't solve all my questions - let alone the 'responsibility issue'. With such an active and divers discussion board, it makes me a little hesitant to ask too many questions.
Will be careful further on though, thank you.

I know we're all trying to make the catalog better!
Needs a super please:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32...

Please delete this book entry: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/73...
and the re-combine the result with the other freefalls...:)
thank you...
I'm not sure what to make of this: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/85...I combined it to the other editions after correcting a few mistakes (spelling in the title and added first name of author) - but now I'm not so sure I've done the right thing because I got the impression it's not a different edition at all. There is no additional info such as ISBN, book cover or anything. But three people were listed as having read it.
Could someone please take care of this? Thanks!
Lioba, I deleted it (and let the reviews merge into a more popular version). The fact that multiple people added it might have been because search was acting up and this was the only/first version they could find at the time they added it.

Should this be deleted or combined with the actual book? The creator has just essentially made it up, without a publishing date, isbn, etc:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/54...
Combined it so review would be merged, then deleted it.Edit:
Need a super for these -

Pretty sure this should be NAB--just three books sold in a pack--but it has many reviews (which seem to be mostly of the first book listed): http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30...
I got 719, 720 and 721. I'm not sure what to do with 718. It does look like most everyone reviewed George's marvelous medicine - but not sure why a pack of three different books would be different than a boxed set. I'm going to let another super decide. If it is NAB - it definitely should be deleted so that the reviews merge with George's MM - then added back to be NABed. I don't like treating any boxed set or packaged set of books as a single entry - but ...
Thanks Melody, and for what it's worth I didn't think 718 needed to be nabbed, just looked like a 3 pack of books to me. But then again I'm not a super. LOL.
Melody wrote: "not sure why a pack of three different books would be different than a boxed set."
It's not. It shouldn't be NABed.

I'm the author of Love Fraud. I mistakenly added the book twice to the database. There is only 1 edition. Can someone please delete the second edition?http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/85...
