Rochelle (toastqueen) | 7 comments I've been caught up with Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters series for a while now, and reading her blog a while ago it seems like she's winding it up.
I've read some of her older stuff, but it's not nearly as good as her Troubleshooters books.
Is there another series, or another author who writes similar to Brockmann's most popular works??
Thanks!

Auntee | 494 comments Have you tried Marliss Melton? She has a very good SEAL series that's similar to Brockmann's Troubleshooters. There's 7 books in her SEAL Team 12 series, and it starts with Forget Me Not. Good stuff.

Also Cindy Gerard's Bodyguard and Black Ops series are great and comparable to Brockmann.

Debbie (halfpint66) | 7 comments I love Marliss Melton (I've met her in person) and Cindy Gerard!

Arch | 121 comments I'll have to read Marliss Melton's book. For years, I keep hearing about how good her books are.

So, who's her hottie? What seal of hers stands out more than the rest?

Suzanne's number one man is Sam. That's my baby.

Debbie (halfpint66) | 7 comments For Marliss Melton, I really don't have a favorite. I loved them all. But, if I had to pick, I'd pick Gabe from the first book Forget Me Not,Solomon McGuire from book #5 Don't Let Go and Seam Harlan from book #6 Too Far Gone.

Well, when I can, I will check her books out.

Debbie (halfpint66) | 7 comments I highly recommend them. If you like Brockmann and Adair, I think you will like Melton.

I'm a fan of some of Suzanne's characters.

I'll give Melton a try.

Arch | 121 comments Is Melton's book pack with tension?

I love tension.

Arch | 121 comments I have some of Cindy's books.

Thanks Pamela. I hope to find some of Melton's book on sale at the library.

Brooke (bcycyk) | 4 comments Catherine Mann...her and Suz are friends. They write a lot of similar stuff. If you you checkout her single titles they intermix and are all military and really good.

Melanie (melaina) | 3 comments Cherry Adair? I loved her books... I'm reluctant to mention Alison Brennan, because as I recall, they're more violent than Brockmanm, although I personally loved them (although I did skim a couple of the more graphic scenes). I thought the heroes and heroines interacted well together :-)
