What's the best book/movie ever? (Book is awesome and so is the movie adaptation.)

Gotta be "To Kill a Mockingbird." The screenplay was by Horton Foote. It was quite true to the book only leaving out a small bit and didn't change the plot.

I'm a lawyer because of that book, so I second the nomination.
Though I'd also present for nomination The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler and later starring Bogie and Bacall as well as The Children's Hour by Lillian Hellman made into a film starring Audrey Hepburn and a very young Shirley McClain. Hepburn won an oscar for it, and McClain only didnt because Hepburn did, if I recall.

The ppl r great and its really fun.

I would also say "To Kill a Mockingbird." A few others that come to mind are: "A Christmas Carol," "The Grapes of Wrath," "The Godfather," and, I admit that I really like "The Green Mile."
