Oh! Ok.Pitbulls are moody dogs, it's true, but I love them to the extreme for what they are inside, not for what people think they are.
Indeed. I met a girl who saw me with a pitbull named Charlie and she screamed.
Me: What?
Girl: Get that thing away from me!

Girl: *points* Those things can kill you! Don't you read newspapers?!
Me: What, Charlie?
Charlie: *wags tail*
Me: He's nice.
Girl: You won't be saying that when he bites your face! You'll be in newspapers for that!
Me: I think not. And I don't read newspapers, I'm allergic to bullshit.
Girl: You just wait, he'll bite your face! He's plotting it right now, I can tell!
Me: You've got problems.
Girl: They're all ugly, mean animals!
Me: Excuseh fucking MOI?! You did NOT just call my dog ugly!
Girl: You'll see. You'll see.
Me: Freak. C'mon, Charlie. *delibretly bumps into her and nudges Charlie towards her, walks off with him*
I plan to destroy that bitch the next time I see her.

Ah, I miss my dear old Charlie. He went to his original owner's house, and I haven't seen him since. They better be treating him right. *cracks knuckles*
Yeah you better get that girl, IRA. She's just an idiot. Some pitbulls are really scary looking-but Charlie sounds adorable.

That's a cute photo! I went "Auh" once I saw it. Yeah my dogs are pretty cute too, but they're not pitbulls. I have an overweight dog, and a skinny brainless dog-WHO I SHALL ROAST ON A SPIT.
BSL is an ethical failure. BSL is a public safety failure.
Description
Breed-specific legislation (BSL) bans or restricts certain types of dogs based on their appearance because they are perceived as “dangerous” breeds or types of dogs.
A breed ban usually requires that all dogs of a certain appearance (“targeted breed”) be removed from the area wherein the BSL has been implemented.
Breed-specific restrictions may require an owner of a targeted breed do any of the following or more, depending on how the law is written:
•Muzzle the dog in public
•Spay or neuter the dog
•Contain the dog in a kennel with specific requirements (6′ chain link walls, lid, concrete floors, etc.)
•Keep the dog on a leash of specific length or material
•Purchase liability insurance of a certain amount
•Place “vicious dog” signs on the outside of the residence where the dog lives
•Make the dog wear a “vicious dog” tag or other identifying marker
Breed-specific legislation applies only to dogs of a certain appearance, not to any and all dogs. It does not take into account how the owner has raised, trained, or managed the dog. It does not take into account the dog’s actual behavior.
•BSL does not improve public safety or prevent dog bites.
•BSL ignores the plight of victims and potential victims of non-targeted breeds.
•BSL is costly.
•BSL requires each and every dog to be identified as a breed—something that has proven impossible to do accurately and objectively.
•BSL makes targeted breeds more desirable to irresponsible and criminal owners.
•BSL does nothing to make irresponsible dog owners accountable.
•BSL punishes responsible dog owners.
•Not a single canine welfare organization supports BSL.
The targeted breeds are pitbulls, dobermens, german shepards, and other breeds that are "notorious" for biting and killing.
Being the #1 uber fan of pitbulls, I am deeply offened, and, as such, cannot understand what good this does.
So, my main point is... What's your view on it?
