Tyler The Goodreads synopsis lists Colonel Chabert as 192 pages long. I recently ordered the book online and received a copy that's only 62 pages. I suspect I've gotten an abridged translation. How long is this book actually supposed to be?

Cole It's short. My copy was 101 pages, with decently large font and margins. My guess is the goodreads page count is based on a certain publication that includes essays and/or other writings.

Sorry to clarify six years too late.
