But, just keep in mind, nobody, even you, is going to stop me from posting spoilers from book 5 the day after it comes out. just not major spoilers. For now. ;)
BTW, you haven't been on this grou for that long. We haven't been formally acquianted, or whatever. you just snapped into our lives. xDDD After finishing book 5, why don't you read the 39 Clues?

I try to rotate between YA and Adult novels. Next on my list is The Once and Future King.

It is an older one about King Arthur, pretty difficult to read but still interesting. It is the book that Disney took the Sword in the Stone from.
Very funny. Entertaining. A lot easier to read because of Warren, who has about 3 girls fighting over him.Each members/formally members of this group.

Okay, I have refrained from commenting on this so far because I am still processing everything that happened in this book, and a lot happened. I really did like it a lot but this is a story that cannot stand on its own yet was so different from the other books that it felt different.First, they were all over the place (Fablehaven, Austrailia, Turkey the Burmuda Triangle, Vancouver, LA, Texas) and I thought it was a little excessive (he probably could have done without the Eternals)
Second, I was hoping for more twists but I realized that twists do not define these books. The final revelations (about the fairy king and queen) were not as surprising or jarring as the twists I was expecting (i.e. Vanessa's and the Sphinx's Betrayal in book 2, or Gavin's true nature) but then I appreciate Brandon Mull for not doing the same thing again and again.
I really did enjoy this book a lot and I really hope that Brandon Mull revisits this world again. The story that I really want to hear is the whole thing from Patton Burgess point of view. He can start with Ephira's story, his relationship with Lena, becoming Fairy struck, getting the Chronometer, His visit to Fablehaven, his trip to Obsidian Waste and Wyrmroost, and his final repetitions visits from everyone throughout the fifth book culminating with Agads visit to let him know that everthing worked out. That would be a cool book to read.

Well, I agree with you when you say the Sphynx was trying to do good. I actually think Id be a member of the Society. But I dont like how Kendra and Seth Don't gorgive him.

He probably could have done w/o the eternals, but it made it a little more interesting. i think the main reason he had them was for the sphinx at the end of the book.
I didn't expect the sphinx to help them and actually turn kinda good. I wasn't trusting him throughout the who book, until near the end when i realized he was being trustworthy.
I wanted to know more about what happened to their parents. Did they maybe know something about the whole fairy world already? When we see them at the end of the book they seem to be completely comfortable with everything. Even if the Sphinx or their grandparents had explained everything to them, i doubt they would be that comfortable and accepting. that s the only loose end I could find (though I wasn't really looking. xD)
Thats all I can remember for now, I'll post more if I remember.

I also really like the astrids. especially seth's. not sure why his specifically. maybe cuz we actually got to know them a little, more than any other.
For awhile I thought that Dale might have been the Grey Assassin, and then I though Warren might have been a traitor

Thet was something else that bothered me about this book. So Seth takes Vanessa, Newel, Doren and Hugo but just ignore Dale. I would think that Dale would be at least as helpful as Newell and Doren, if not more so.
Yehpp. Dale is so.. Alonee. only mentioned about 3 times?
