Andrea Zaunbrecher | 1 comments A.) The longest book I think I ever read was "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy. It may not be the longest but it felt like the longest. It took me an entire summer to read. I'd put it down thinking I wouldn't finish it but I would keep picking it back up because I wanted to know the ending.

B.) The worst book I ever read would have to be "The Confederacy of Dunces" by John Kennedy Toole. This was required reading in one of my English Literature college classes. My professor identified himself with the main character Ignatius Reilly, and tried to speak and behave as Ignatius Reilly does in the book. I think I now associate this book with that professor.

C.) This was a hard one to pick. I have read many great books but if I have to pick one it will be "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. This is the book that opened up the world of reading to my son, age 9 at the time. I began reading it aloud to him each night before bed. He quickly became enthralled with the story and began reading it on his own. During the course of the summer he read the entire series and has developed a great love of reading. This book has had the same effect on many children and adults as well and that is why it is my favorite.
