OHMYGOD! So, when I was younger, about 3rd grade and farther back, I had this best friend named Rosie, but I called her Rose (and she called me Rose too, lmao.) and we were also neighbors and sooo close and then I moved and she didn't have a phone or internet (plus I was like 8...) and today I found her on facebook! I WAS LIKE AAAHHHH!!!! ROSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I need her to accept my friend request, heehee.

I wish my best friend from kindergarden and first grade was still here. She moved away in the summer before 2nd grade. That's actually one of the things I remember, is her. She was seriously my best friend and the only one who came to my 6th birthday... Her name was Olivia, and everyone was surprised because I was best friends with a black girl...

Yup.Well, its not completely overturned, but it was declared unconstitutional and is going back to court and other stuff.
Its interesting to note that in most newspapers it was like a side bar, and then on the SF Chronicle it was the headline on the front page! ^.^
I think that one day same-sex marriage will be allowed to all... because if you think about it... people of different races were NEVER allowed to get married. AND, although it took time, it's allowed now, right? Eventually, I think same-sex marriage will be allowed no problem! Just WHEN is the whole issue :pPeople used to view people of color as inhuman or whatever, and people view gays as inhuman today too... so I think it's very similar.

It's so annoying how stupid people are! It's just like... Marriage is a private thing in the first place. They don't KNOW the people who want to get married and are the same sex, it's everyones' right to have the privacy they deserve! It's not like if we pass the law of same-sex marriage, everyone else has to do it too!And the other side's argument is "Well if we allow gays to marry, the next step is people marrying ANIMALS or CHILDREN!" It's like... that has NOTHING to do with it! They don't even have a valid argument!!!

It's just like, why do people have to be so nosy about other people's lives who live in places they've never been or WILL go to. Because of their ignorant and selfish ways they are effecting thousands of people's happiness.
It's no one elses business but the people who want to get married. People need to keep their noses up to themselves (preferably up their asses.) and not worry about other people.
