Thomas Sullivan (tsullivanslowlane) | 2 comments The best way to turn around a bad situation is find the humor in it. I worked for a horribly cheap company that taught kids to drive using ancient cars and very few instructors. Cars broke down. Lessons were missed. Pure chaos ensued. Yet, the kids were remarkably resilient. So, I wrote this book both for personal reasons and also to shed some light on what happens when you privatize what should remain a communal and publicly funded operation (Enron, anyone?). My hope in writing LIFE IN THE SLOW LANE is that parents will start to question just what is being gained through privatizing an industry that is pretty important for their kids' development.

(LIFE IN THE SLOW LANE is available as an e-book at Uncial Press: www.uncialpress.com as well as through Powell's Books and Amazon.)
