DARK SWAN series - Dorian vs. Kiyo

Lol! I thought it was just me but i disliked Kiyo from the start! :P His relationship with Genie seemed to be based on sex, and i think he feels lust, not love!
Dorian has his problems but he is a likeable character, whereas Kiyo seemed moody and argumentative to me. He was always like, "i don't like you doing this", or "no, don't do that" and what not!
Didn't anyone else find it annoying everytime he ran back to Maiwenn?? He's her pet and personal spy! And if you read Iron Crowned, you'll know what i'm on about...

Can't wait to read it and find out what's going to happen after what happened in book 3! :P

Loved Dorian from the start. and yes he had ulterior motives and all but he didn't beat around the bush and hide that side of him. He was so supportive of her even when it wouldn't benefit him. Kiyo i liked their very first encounter but like alot of people have said. it just went downhill from there. And yes i respect his not just dropping the baby and maiwen. kiyo and eugenie werent meant for each other yes they had some similarities but not enough. and kiyo was majorly hypocritical about her living in both worlds. and then he goes and tricks her into thinking that it was his babies and that he was willing to kill them. that was the last straw for me. I do not agree with eugenies choice to keep dorian in the shadows with his children.

@Ariel - I agree with you about keeping him in the dark. I haven't found anyone who was truly happy with the ending of the series on that regard.
