Just started reading In the Blood by Robert Sullivan. Won this one a while ago, but life intervened and didn't have a chance to get to it until now. Now I'm not sure why I entered for it, except that it is a mystery and a mystery in a science fiction setting. I'm not sure how it's going to go just yet. It's...interesting....

I won and it arrived in the mail, Illuminated. I have read the first two chapters and I am liking this book.
I won and received
A Dark Sicilian Secret
by Jane Porter yesterday. I don't usually read Harlequin romance, ahaha :D
I was just notified I won "The Sleepwalkers" Paul Grossman. I'm looking forward to reading this one.
I was notified yesterday that I won a copy of Families and Other Nonreturnable Gifts. I'm so excited!
Ok is it safe to send my address ??! and is it worldwide shipping , and is there any charges I have to pay when I get it ??
I just found out I won a copy of Demons in the Age of Light: A Memoir the other day. I'm surprised I won two giveaways so close together, but I'm excited to receive my books!

I've not heard of anyone having problems with the First Reads program having addresses. As for worldwide shipping, each book lists the countries open for that drawing. So I don't think you ever pay anything.
I have won 17 firstreads total. Although I haven't won anything in about a month!I only enter to win books that will interest me.
Some have been "okay" and others have become favorites!
I have never paid for anything through firstreads.
And I believe it will only allow you to enter giveaways that are available in your country.
I love that they have the firstreads giveaways. I have found new favorites and some great authors, that I may not have otherwise.
Here are some that I have won:
Pigeon English
The Orphan Sister
The Book of Lies
Things We Didn't Say: A NovelOnly Time Will Tell
The Last Letter from Your Lover
Doggirl
A Cure to Die For: A Medical Thriller
Mob Rules: What the Mafia Can Teach the Legitimate Businessman
Half a Life
Plain Wisdom: An Invitation into an Amish Home and the Hearts of Two Women
Boys and Girls Like You and Me: Stories
Fallen
Last month I won an ARC of Maria Duenas's The Time In Between, which was pretty awesome because that book has been on my want-to-read pile for a long while xD
I just finished Clockwork Prince that I got from First Reads. I loved it. But I haven't won anything else recently
I haven't won anything lately either. This is seriously hurting my addiction to receiving books in the mail. ;)
I won two books from the giveaways:The Art of War from SmarterComics: How to be Successful in Any Competition
Think and Grow Rich from SmarterComics: The Comic Book that Could Make You Rich!
I think I primarily won them because I have read numerous graphic novels and comic books, so they were like SCORE we will give it to him. Now if I could only win an actual book I would be thrilled.
I just won Hand Me Down. It's the first one I've ever won so I'm pretty excited. It was one of those ones that had 20 winners so I think that made it a little easier to win.
Won When Dark Secrets Get Darker!!! So I won my first actual BOOK from them!!!! So excited. I only entered that one because of reading The List recently and finding it so enjoyable. These books with mysteries are getting to be my thing. Still love my classic social workery books, but sometimes it is good to read something totally off the wall. Really stocked about winning this book. :-) Can't wait to read it and review it.
Won two more!!! The Book of Lost Fragrances and Everliving. I am going to have to start reading these books faster because I still have the last one I won to read. When I win a book I like to review it fairly quickly!!! I am a bit behind because school started and I am reading a book for it right now.
I just won The Crown by Nancy Bilyeau. I have won 3 from Good Reads so far, but this is the one I've been the most excited about reading.
I haven't won a first reads book in a year and two months. But today, I finally won a book after not winning any for such a long time.I won Island of Shadows by Erin Hunter. I can't wait to get the book. Today is my birthday too, so winning the book was a good birthday present.
Happy Birthday Eden! (Hmmm my birthday's coming up in about a month and a half and I haven't won a book since July....) LOL
Happy birthday and congrats, Eden. I hope both the book and day are good! Karen M: I was just thinking the same thing (though my last win was April), LOL!
I recently finished Eirelan that I won on Firstreads that was really good. And also Shadow of a Demon which wasn't bad. I've just received With Abandon and Kings of the North. And Gone Girl I just won but haven't receied yet.
I am about 1/2 way through with The Enhanced Old Testament and am finding it very interesting! I am currently waiting on a copy of The Crown by Nancy Bilyeau and looking forward to it.
Karen M: LOL...one can only hope! :-DI did win a book last week from one of the GR groups I belong to, but it's been almost a year now for First Reads.
Just won another book. It's A Princess and Her Garden: A Fable of Awakening and Arrival. Includes the Guided Journal Becoming the Queen of Yourself. by Patricia R. Adson.
