I've found a kindle edition which seems to have got seperated from its paperback and audio editions. Would it be possible for someone to join them back together?

It may be because it doesn't have the second author listed, while the PB does, but the author description for C.A.Larmer (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...) does say she wrote the Agatha Christie Book Club series, which was the original series name for the Murder Mystery Book Club

I believe this is all straightened out now. The problem is that somewhere along the line two different series with different authors became conflated and chaos occurred!

Unfortunately Larmer changed her series name (and the first book) and it just so happens that it's pretty much the same as the first volume of Collins' series.

Let me know if that fixed your issue, please!

I don't know how this happened, but the book page has the First Published date (April 3, 2022) as later than the This Edition Published date (March 6, 2022).
It doesn't matter for this season's tasks, but it seems odd.

As far as I can find, this large type paperback version seems to be the only print copy I find. I did update the pagination per WorldCat OCLC: 1399395702.

I'n not sure what the mods accept for this one, since there doesn't seem to be any other print copy. Perhaps it would need to be approved for use in the ebook verification thread. I would explain that the LP version has 363 pages. Good luck!

This is confusing, but I'm hoping a librarian can sort it out.

The Expensive Halo: A Fable Without Moral is written by Josephine Tey, originally under the name Gordon Daviot. This is linked to numerous editions.

The Expensive Halo has Josephine Tey on the cover, but the description says 'Written by the talented author, F. M. Mayor" and the plot description is totally different. This is linked to two other editions where the description is the biography of Josephine Tey, but doesn't actually say anything about the book.

Did F.M. Mayor write a book with the same title which was listed with the wrong cover? Or does the second description actually apply to the Josephine Tey book also?

if you search for the title The Legion by Simon Scarrow this comes up which gives all the other copies as book 9 in series - The Gladiator
there are also some editions which give publication date alongside titleThe Legion by Simon Scarrow (21-Jul-2011) Paperback

I tidied things up and think you can now find what you need. I didn't do all the cleaning of titles with extra listed; the rest took too darn long.

Some of the last few issues (not just yours) that I've worked on seem to be problems with titles that individuals listed for sale on Amazon, but put incomplete, wrong, or merged info. These problem records then were sent to GR. Some are still in Amazon, but your mentioned confused one should be correct on GR, at least; since I can't change the Amazon records...

The paperback was already in GR, but there were three separate records that are now combined.

Merged the books on to two different authors. It appears there were books listed for both authors, but same titles appearing on both. I split the books to what appears to be the correct author and merged the titles on the separate one. That should solve whatever you needed.
