Morning all. Could you help me out with Murder on a Winter's Night: Ten Classic Crime Stories.

Currently, only the editor is listed under authors, although some of the contributors are mentioned in the GR text. Would it be possible to bring them out, the way the earlier anthologies in the series did: e.g. Murder Under the Christmas Tree: Ten Classic Crime Stories for the Festive Season.

I was hoping to use it for MegSCL's task in the Winter SRC

Unfortunately, Trish, I can't find anywhere, yet, that actually lists the total contents of this one. The WorldCat record is a pre-pub record, too, so doesn't have the table of contents, etc.

If you have the book in hand, you could list the author/title info from the contents page. That could then be added to the summary, at least, by a librarian.

Margo, I did the top 4 page counts. For the first one, which was independently published, I used the Amazon info. However, the other three were found on Worldcat, which was the source of the info I entered.

I have not done the additions of the paperbacks. If no one else gets to it before I get back, I will work on those.

Hi Bea, thanks so much for doing all of these for me. I've never used Worldcat, so didn't realise that was part of the process. I think maybe the problem is that I put a hyphen in the ISBN numbers as I copied them from amazon.co.uk. Could that be it?

I did remove the hyphen on one. Still did not work. Sometimes GR seems to glitch. I think it is when the elves in the back are working on something. Anyway, sooner or later (and hopefully sooner) it will clear.

Worldcat uses the library way of counting pages that GR uses and is the definitive site for page counts of published books. However, they do not have independently published nor Kindle books usually listed. For those we use Amazon.

Well, Margo, I got the first book added today. Matters of the Heart

The second book was already on GR but with details missing. I added the details and combined it with the other books. Best Served Cold: A DCI Harry Grimm Novel

Finally, the third book GR is back to giving me the same error message as yesterday and will not allow me to create it. Sorry.

However, I noticed on Amazon.co.uk that the publication date is 9 December 2021, so perhaps it's too early to get the details. I'll leave it for now and probably Goodreads will update in a few weeks. One to read in February!!! :)
