This is more a just curious (also kicking myself for not confirming main page genre early) but how can Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson be the #3 book on the "Superheros" genre page but not have superheros as a main page genre? Is it because not enough people have put it on a personalized superheros list?

Main Page Genres are only based on what people tag the books as personally. It's based on the shelves of Goodreads users, not based on what the genre of the book actually is.

Thanks Cait! Frustrating when there are many different iterations of "super," "superhero," etc on the book shelving, but not enough to get superheros on the MPG :-/

Sorry, but it looks like the ISBN is shared with another edition of the book, and a fun quirk of goodreads is that no two editions can have the same ISBN.

To add the book to a post, search using the title and click "other editions" for the first one that comes up, your edition should then be third on the list.

Christine, if you are using the Kindle edition, you can put the ASIN in the book/title search box when posting, and it will bring up your edition. You do not need the ISBN.

Nevermind...I get it now. You need the ISBN to put into the Classify system. Could you use the Amazon one and put that link in your post to prove it goes with the Kindle book? I would ask in the help thread to be sure.

Put the ISBN in the book/author search, and it will pop up.

Alternatively you can enter the author name and then scroll through the pages of books she has written until you come to the book...much slower way.

Would a librarian please look at this book record and see what corrections they can make. Title (only shows as D), original title says Tale of Two Cities (someone's idea of a joke?) Description says "Novel to be removed". Print copy has an original publication date that may actually reference the Tale of Two Cities. Author - H. R. Puffnstuf (hey a shout out to Saturday Morning Cartoons I guess) . . . anyway . . .

Thanks very much. Yes, it does have an ISBN, which is already on GR for a different edition - 0006164358. I don't know what happens in such a case.
