I won a Goodreads Giveaway...Share with the Group
OMG I am so excited for you. I sure hope I win some books soon. I signed up for a ton of giveaways. How long have you had to wait to finally win? How did you win two? You are so lucky.
That Portrait of Rage book sounds good. It has only one review of 5 stars. Strange that the giveaway is still going on for 7 more days and they sent you the book already. Weird, I thought they didn't send it til the contest was over.
I might not win for a couple weeks, then I hit the big time. 2 in one day or 2 in 2 days. Or one a week. And the books are so beautiful esp the hardbacks. Thanks Goodreads!!

Stolen Light by Claudia Riess. Seems like a heck of a mystery with lots of adventure and suspense. Not really a cozy ..."Seriously awesome! How long ago did you start entering giveaways? I just started last week. That's great you won three books today.

I love the smell of new books especially paperbacks. I fan the pages under my nose often while reading. Am I a freak?
My 3-year-old granddaughter saw me smelling my books and now she does the same thing. OMG what have I started
No you are not, my den has the smell of books and I love it! I've been doing this for couple years. But I love Goodreads in general, meeting ppl , joining clubs etc.
My publisher is giving two copies of my new cozy away. The Fame Equation. Only a few days left on the promotion, though. Hope someone here wins!https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Angela wrote: "Hi, my name is Angela. I just starting entering for the giveaways, its such fun. I wondered how do you know you won something? Does the notification for to private email or GR mail? I never won any..."private e-mail let's you know you won.
Congrats on your recent wins, Tina. Enjoy! A review doesn't have to be long. It can just be a few sentences here about what you liked/disliked about the book.
Angela: You usually receive a notice that you have won in your regular email, though I once received a book without receiving notification. When you win a book, make sure you go back to the giveaway and mark it as "received" -- or, if you hear you have won something and don't receive it within 4-6 weeks, mark it as "not received." You can find this by going to the giveaway section, then clicking on the link for contests you've entered.

I love the books on goodreads. I hunt for them..I would feel it an honor to win one of your books. Wish me good luck... Thanks a million..Doris Jenkinsdrsjnks704@aol.com
FYI . . . Berkley/NAL has at least four cozies up for giveaway. Follow the link to read what's available (there are other books besides cozies).
ETA: There is also one by Krista Davis here.

Well, Happy Birthday to me! Received notification that I won a giveaway this week for Death at Breakfast: A Novel by Beth Gutcheon, due out May 10.
Anyone else win a GR contest lately?

Congrats! I entered a bunch recently, but no wins, so far!
Thanks, Melodie! I saw that you marked this one "to be read" -- here's hoping I can give you a good recommendation for it, and that you win something soon! :)
This thread has been quiet far too long. I found out last week that, after a year and a half without any luck, I won Mining for Justice by Kathleen Ernst. Guess I need to do some catching up in that series...
Has anyone else won a GR giveaway lately?

Thanks for posting as I had forgotten about this group. I finished a few minutes ago Secrets of Cavendon
by Barbara Taylor Bradford
that I won. It is an Advance Uncorrected Proof. My first read by her and I will give it a 4 star rating.
I continue to win a couple books each month. I haven't written because it seems like I'm always winning. I need to catch up in reading the GR giveaway that are e-books.
Delivered to my doorstep about 15 minutes ago. Tell Tale: Short Stories by Jeffrey Archer
. Audio version that I won from goodreads.
I've been winning 2 books a month for some time now. I just won 2 books for November One Fell Sweep
and The Craving Cure: Identify Your Craving Type to Activate Your Natural Appetite Control
-neither are a mystery.
OMG this is a good month for me-I've won two more books. Both of the books are mysteries. The Lullaby Girl
and
The Storm King
Ok this is the last book I will write that I have won during the month of November-hard to believe this is number 5. Mise en Death
It's the first book in a new series called Bitter Sweet Mystery
My luck has continued into this month. I have won 9 different books (some are e-books). Most of the books are mysteries. I will continue to join the different giveaways. I know soon my luck will run out and I won't win any books for quite awhile. I'm enjoying the free books for now and will always read and review them. Good luck to everyone who joins the giveaways.

Heather L wrote: "Congrats, Paula! (And hint...that author is coming up in our rotation. 😉)"
Thanks. Nice, I enjoy her books.
I've recently won 4 giveaways here on GR after a long dry spell! 2 are Kindle e-books:
Go: A Coming of Age Novel and
True Hollywood Stories. And 2 "paper & ink":
Grocery: The Buying and Selling of Food in Americaand
Bowdrie (I put in for this one for my husband!)
Must be holding my mouth just right when I enter. I won another one this week:
Tiffany Blues. Looking forward to this one!
I just won Murder in Greenwich Village. I can’t wait to get it! I also won 2 Kindle books in the last 2 months!
Just found out that I have won my first giveaway in year: Hideaway by Nora Roberts, which will be published in May 2020. Looking forward to receiving and reading this one!
(And finally something good to come out of this abysmal month!)

Has anyone won any books recently? I’ve been entering giveaways for 3 years now and never won. This is a bit frustrating.
