Maria So I talked to someone who saw the movie (with Antonio Banderas) and he said it was awesome, but I am always afraid of a movie-experience ruining my book memories... anyone have a clue to how good the movie is compared to the book?

Tricia I’ve just logged on for another issue, and saw this old post. I picked up Imagining Argentina in 1988, started reading in the late afternoon and finished it some time in the middle of the night, that night. An exceptional book.

My memories of the movie were not as good.
