I'm most excited for Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) to come out at the end of this month. I'm also planning on reading Lover Avenged (finally) and Through Stone and Sea is sitting in my top desk drawer just waiting for me to finish up my current book.

I have to agree with
[book:Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5)
. It's on the top of my list (much like !Black Magic Sanction was for Feb.).

Julia | 119 comments Is Silver Borne coming out in mmppk? I hate how writers/ editors snare me into their series, with terrific inexpensive paperbacks, then make me buy hardbacks when they get popular.

I've just finished Muse and Reveries Muse and Reverie by Charles de Lint am about to start Blackout. Blackout by Connie Willis

Barbara ★ Started book three in the series yesterday City of Glass.

message 7: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I finished Midnight Rising (Midnight Breed, #4) by Lara Adrian and loved it! I'm now moving on to Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger

message 8: by Paula (new)

Paula (pauldajo) I finished reading Fire and listening to Kitty Raises Hell. I am now listening to Territory and cross stitching while I listen. I don't think that I could get through Territory if I were reading it. Very slow paced and overly descriptive (for my tastes), but well written. The book is 320 pages and the audiobook is 13 hours. Maybe the readers are just extra slow. The Kitty book's audios are around 8 hours unabridged.

HOURGLASS comes out tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it, too.

Carolyn F. I finished Rapture and Pleasure, great books - would recommend them. I'm reading A Girl's Guide to Vampires, which is funny and a little romantic.

Carolyn (cwelch88) | 4 comments I am looking forward to the next book after Conquest. S. J. Frost says it should be out by the end of the month. I always hate waiting for books. So many times I get caught up in other books and never get back to the books I have been waiting for. That is why I like reading books that have all the series out by the time I find the book.

message 12: by Barbara ★ (new)

Barbara ★ today I'm reading Touched by Light.

message 13: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I just finished [image error] and really enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next book to come out at the end of the month. I'm now reading Sex and the Single Vampire (Dark Ones, #2) by Katie MacAlister

message 16: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (kelly_l) | 21 comments I just finished Beautiful Creatures and this book (off group genre) called "Those Who Save Us." I'm 100 pages into a book called Accidentally Demonic which is a romantic spoof thing sorta like Sookie. I'm not sure what I'll pick up next...but either another Anita Blake book or the Kiss Before the Apocolypse book (depending on how fast I read the other. :)

Doesn't a new Sookie book come out in March? Or is it May? ::scratching head::

I'm having fun reading about these books ya'll are into. I'm adding more and more to my shelves.

Paula (pauldajo) I finished listening to Territory. I got used to putting my earphones on to listen while I walked around doing this or that task. It is a 13 hour audiobook. All of a sudden the book was over. It was like a steady hum of words,5 minutes of wrap up, and then the audio fare thee well. I grew to like the story and strangely wanted to hear more. I have started reading Eight Days of Luke and listening to Leviathan.

message 20: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I finished Flirt which was pretty good. I'm now reading Blood Magic, which I'm really enjoying. She's one of my favorite authors.

Valorie I finished Sex and the Single Vampire (Dark Ones, #2) by Katie MacAlister by Katie MacAlister. I thought it was much better than the first book. I'm a little over half way through Blood Is the New Black by Valerie Stivers by Valerie Stivers. Cute paranormal vampire story, its a short quick read. Very Chick-litish.

I did like the second book better than the first. I found the two female characters in the first book a little annoying. You will really enjoy this next book!

message 29: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (jnhart) I just started City of Glass (Mortal Instruments, #3) by Cassandra Clare

message 30: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I finished Heart of Darkness. Showalter's and Shayne's stories were okay, Showalter's better than Shayne's. Krinard's story was terrible.

About Territory by Emma Bull, at some point I read, somewhere, that she is working on a sequel! Territory by Emma Bull

I'm currently reading and enjoying the not- quite urban fantasy, but maybe magical realism The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff. The Monsters of Templeton by Lauren Groff Not really sure where one genre leaves off and the other begins... And like, Territory, it also has a healthy dose of historical fantasy, perhaps. I've read about 100 pages.

message 32: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I finished Aphrodite's Kiss (Time of Your Life) by Julie Kenner . It was cute chick-litish paranormal read. I'm now reading Catch of a Lifetime (Tritone Trilogy, #3) by Judi Fennell

Paula (pauldajo) I finally finished Archer's Goon and I finished listening to Book of a Thousand Days, Dial-a-Ghost, The Awakening, and Sandry's Book. I continue reading Dead Beat I am currently listening to A Secret Rage.

message 34: by Paula (new)

Paula (pauldajo) Julia, I will definately listen to the audiobook and if there is no audio, I will read the book. I think the story line can sustain a second book.

message 35: by Julia (new)

Julia | 119 comments Paula,
I finished "Territory" and looked all around me. Did I somehow miss the gunfight? Nope. Hasn't happened yet!
