Ok, I think I got them all separated outWe disambiguation by adding spaces between author names
Jane^Roberts vs Jane^^Roberts where ^ = space. There where a couple of other people in there also but they had initials that could be used

Here is a publisher listed as an author:Chronicle Books
Unfortunately, I don't have time right now to remove them from 300+ editions. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Also, if we can take care of all the ones where it's the primary author, I can have a dev zap it from all the ones where it's secondary. (It just won't work if there are any left where it's primary.)
I'll start working on some...ETA: What if we can't find any other authors for the books? The children's books don't seem to have an author listed on either WorldCat or the Chronicle books website...

Bummer... hate to make more work for everyone, but I'm seeing a lot of journals, etc. where there just isn't any other author to use. :(

Rivka - I'm noticing on some of these that the importer has added Chronicle Books as an additional author to books that have been previously NABed.Here's a Librarian Edit page that show's what I'm talking about: http://www.goodreads.com/book/edits/6...
A filter that keeps additional data from being added to NABed books would be nice, if you want to pass that along! :)

"Gene^Walden" seems to be a dumping ground for a lot of stuff that needs to be nabbed - and strangely, for books like "Kaffir Boy" which is actually by another author. And for lots of other titles which seem to be by other authors.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Martha, it looks like all three of your links got cut off, and so they're leading to the wrong places. Can you repost them, please?Adrianna, what does she need help with? I notice that she currently has three ebook editions of "Pretty Unlikely: Bloody Extended Edition", two of which are duplicates. Is that the issue? If so, a Super isn't necessary to do the merge. To take care of it, combine the three editions, and then you'll be able to delete the two duplicates. If that's not the issue, it's something that also needs to be taken care of. ;)

There are two of us on here with the name Jacqueline Hopkins. The second book listed under my name: Tumbleweed Tom on the Texas Trail is not mine. I believe it belongs to the other Jacqueline Hopkins although under her profile here: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... it says she is not a Goodreads author yet. So I am not sure how her book got placed under me. It happened before with her other book and it had to be removed from me.

I've been working on this one, and the books that are left aren't pulling up an ISBN/author combination anywhere :/ (The ISBNs aren't in WorldCat or the French Library, but are in Open Library without authors.)

The "how to Draw" and "Origami" authors look like one of those imports-gone-bad which picked up category in the author field. All of those books have correct-looking primary authors, so that's an easy (if annoying) one to fix....

Two authors:
LC puts the psychic who 'owns' the profile as born 1929, and the author of the art history books as Jane Roberts, 1949-, so different Jane Roberts... No idea how to deal with this so over to you! :)
