First off, this pair I'm not sure are "authors" or even really creators of books:

Public Affairs Television
and Inc.Public Affairs Television

And then there's "Bill Moyers". I think there are at least two different people here:

the journalist: Bill Moyers
...at least partially some of the same guy's work: Bill D. Moyers
and finally, possibly the same one, possibly not: BILL MOYER

I got most of Davidson. I got stumped on Great Historic Places of Europe. The ISBN is not coming up in the LoC or WorldCat, but I found a "Horizon" Book of Great Historic Places of Europe by a Marshall B. Davidson. Both published in 1974, but I don't want to make the change if I'm not 100%!

Nelson is now down to 2 books by a single-name illustrator, and 2 unknown books (Switch'on maitre and Tu Diras!, which seems to be a textbook). So if anyone can help with those last two books, that would be great.

I agree that the book is by Marshall B. Davidson, just like you found, so I changed that one, and now Davidson is done! Thanks! :)

I *think* I got them fixed. Bill D. Moyers was Bill Moyers, so I merged those. BILL MOYER was Bill Moyer (legitimately Moyer, not Moyers) and William Moyer. So I think they're good now.

I'm not sure about that cover, only because the ISBN doesn't match, and I couldn't find that cover with that ISBN on any other website. But I was able to change the author, so thank you :)

Is there a way to make it so that books with authors Simon do not automatically go under Simon the single-named author or do we just need to check on his profile every so often?

Looks like this one is probably Various, since each issue contains material from a variety of sources. I haven't managed to track an editor, but then I don't read German & the homesite info for that manga is pretty strange in computer translation. ;-)

Can I also remind librarians to try to avoid leaving empty author profiles? If you're editing the last book under a given author, change the author's name via the author profile, rather than only changing the name in the book. That is, of course, as long as the author profile doesn't have any quotes, fans, or events that need to be merged with a different author.

For ones like "Anonymous," which come back again and again, I can see. But ones where it's just an issue of a name being slightly off, wouldn't we want to change the profile name, rather than leaving the profile empty?
