The following "authors" have works incorrectly attributed. If anyone knows the correct author for any of the works on these pages, please correctly attribute them.

I think this is a user who is claiming to be author of these books. Correct me if I'm wrong.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
I don't know that anyone is claiming anything falsely but it looks like it could just be a mistake. This girls name is close/the same to one of the authors for each of the books attributed. If that author isn't a GR author and this girl joined using that name could something have happened then? Maybe it asked her if she was so and so and, being that it's her name and maybe she didn't realize it would take her to an author page, she answered yes? The listing do need a little work though, general work, so if no one else wants to do it I will.
Authors have to request GR author status. I believe this one has published under multiple similar names.
I think you're right. It's my syntax error. I have a bit of trouble with that. I mentioned before that sometimes there are pages where the author is something like "Star Trek" where there are several novels based on the series, but the author clearly isn't Star Trek; it's somebody else.
I'm not sure if Gregory Rasputin actually wrote any of these, considering he was apparently illiterate. Can anyone shed light on this?http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Actually, it's not. Those books should not have been listed under that pseudo-author; the Sadie Lewis books are listed correctly (if somewhat confusingly).

This looks like several authors lumped under one name. Does anyone know the proper authors for these books?http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

You are right; it is a bit confusing, but I think I get it.

Two were by a Maria Rasputin; the third was a nom de plume for some Libertarian political screed.

Thanks for the help. I guess it's a sign that I've been getting too into my roommate's Russian history course when the first Rasputin that comes to mind is the infamous one.
Nah. I looked at the books at first and had the same objection as you, plus "wasn't he dead before those dates?"! ;)
As for Message 12 - the Freemans. I've cleaned up about half a dozen so far and will continue to look into them.
OK the Freemans - only 3 left, one of which is to be NAB'd. That leaves 2 - both I think are university type papers.
I did so many Freemans, I'm all freemanned out. I don't remember which one that was now. But it doesn't matter.:)
Thanks, Rivka.
I'm not sure if the book on this profile is an actual book. I do know that if it is, I'm sure a mythological hero did not write it.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

Hah! :)
I'm willing to believe WorldCat that there's a Paul Achilles who did write it, though.
Heather, the author's name is really Paul Strong Achilles, also the book had a secondary author. Looks legit. WorldCat had plenty of information on him, I've updated his profile.
That was me, Sandra. :) The author was given just as "Achilles" before, which does bring rather to mind the classical hero than a random psychologist!
This author seems to have quite a mishmash of literature to his/her name. I think it needs to be checked at the very least.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
I am pretty sure this is a fake book under the name of a fake author.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
Regarding 30 - It exists on worldcat in the LOC and the British Library - I m leaving it - unless a super indicates differently
Works by John Dryden, poet laureat from 1680's and other works by Alex Dryden and Vernon Chappell. Fixed.Speaking of John Dryden, there appear to be many unconnected works combined under "major works", needs a librarian familiar with his work to sort them out. An English Major perhaps?
Single-name author. Looks like they could possibly be written by the same Elliott.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
This one is definitely fake. While I can't tell if the books are, they may very well be.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
I'm not sure how many of these are actual books, but I'm pretty sure Jesus did not write them all, especially the history books. He also has a huge number of biblical quotes attributed to him which should probably be reattributed. http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
This has a few books that need to be outright deleted, as well as some books that need proper attribution.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
This author has a book on here that is also attributed to several other cartoons/comics and not the actual authors. However, I am not even sure that this is an actual book.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

That looks like it's a manga collection where the collected titles were listed in the author field. Someone should be able to merge each of those "authors" into the primary author for the title. I'll look at it tonight, if no one else wants it.
