Same Author?

Alice Sebold wrote Lovely Bones right?? I read that one! It was a little odd, disturbing at the beginning but well written. What did you think of this one?

I had no idea what the book was about and as soon as I was done with the first chapter, it was obvious that it was going to be a highly emotional book. I enjoyed the way to wrote it. I felt the emotional struggles of all the characters, including the rapist, which made for a good read.

This one (Almost Moon) seems to be harder for me to get through because I just don't like the main character. She seems as narcissistic as she states her mother was and maybe that's the point but I just want to get into the book and tell her to get over it.

I thought this book was weird and really did not care for it. It was depressing and the ending left you hanging and just overall feeling bad for the daughters of the main character. I would not recommend this book. Just to weird.
