Adding photos to our messages....

Hi Everyone.
This is not really about books -perse- but i started a topic on goodreads feedbackabout giving us the ability to post actual pictures inside our messages, instead of just creating a link (like i just did)

If you are like me and think this would be a fun and interesting new ability.. please click on the link and vote yes to my topic. Otis tells me it is waaaayyyy down low on the list of things they want to do with the website, but the more voters who support me, the higher up the to-do list it will get!!!

Ok, i want to thank anyone who supported this idea, becuase Otis went ahead and added it... And while i am thrilled that he did, I want to just lay down a few little guidelines...

We are a book group, so please try to keep the photos limited to books and our love of them!!!

I hope this enhances everyones experience here, if you like it, use it, just dont abuse it.

Does anyone know if you can attach pictures to GR private messages?

I dont see why you couldnt. You can format your text... to make it italic or bold, so you should be able to send pics too.....

your welcome. It works best when the picture is uploaded through photobucket.com or some other picture site....

I just put a pic in my writing about the break-in in my coffee shop the other night but it came out to big and reading this I now understand why. Thanks Lori.

if you edit the message, the code should appear, and i think you can change the numbers in it.... not sure tho.
