I'm finally finishing To Ride Hell's Chasm, by Janny Wurts. Anyone who wants a rollicking, fast-forward adventure, yet with all the depth of character and plot development of her serial works, must try this one.

Kate O'Hanlon (kateohanlon) I read it a couple of months ago. I might be due a reread though, I'm a bit hazy about what happened in it.

message 21: by Gregory (new)

Gregory (haneyg) Have read. Horrible book.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Either you love it or hate, but I did enjoy the novel, especially after I re-examined the Gods mentioned in the story.

Was quite entertaining. Also listened to the somewhat sequel, Anansi Boys :)

Yes Filip that counts !

Maria (dollhouse) I am re-reading it. I read it the first time a few years ago (about 3, I think).

Matt Albers (ThePirateHistoryPodcaster) I've read it twice. I'd never read any Neil Gaiman before, and one day I just found it lying on my pillow. Fortuitous, since I wound up loving this book! It really fit with my personal philosophy. One of my favorites.
