The last time I read these books was ages ago, when I was a kid, and in part because of the new movie coming out I got in the mood to read them again, and they are such delightful books. They are truly wonderful for anyone to read no matter the age, a charming and endearing tale and quite humorous and amusing. I had so much fun reading these books over that I was a little sand when they ended. I wanted to hear more of Wonderland and the marvelous inhabitants within.
I absolutely loved the little bits of nonsense spread throughout the book, and the way in which poetry and rhymes which Alice attempts to recite ends up coming out all wrong.
And though the are kids book meant to challenge and delight a child's imagination, I think they are also books which could offer some interesting philosophical questions on the nature of "reality."
