Hi, I'm new to the group but already loving it!

I recently finished two nice reads by Santa Montefiore, and : loved them!
I didn't know the author, but found them bundled together in a combo pack and couldn't resist (bought them at Morrisons, yup, it happens!). Alike most of us, I base my decision on title and sinopsis, but I have to admit that some book covers have an influence too: the covers of these two books called for happy ever after.
Another book I finished read about a month ago is by Dean Koontz, a mix of romance/thriller where one of the protagonist is actually a golden retriever. If you love dogs and happy ending this would make a perfect read.

Gosh.... I feel a very slow turtle compared to you guys. My reading has taken the back seat to make space for some writing (a children book about a naughty cat and scattered thoughts on life). Although I started reading another book The Lake House, in between those I was reading. Has anyone read it yet, or is reading it?

Only at page 40 in a week... so far behind for my challenge, but hopefully I'll cover the gap soon.
