I do like it but I can understand the problem with the alcoholic theme. That bugs me to a degree but not enough to stop reading. I have read some books where the hero is an alcoholic and haven't cared for that theme. Its a rough issue in romance for me.

I enjoyed it, and I think you would like it too, Lisa Kay , it's a really nice historical. And plus: you get two stories for the price of one ;-). One in the present, and one in the past.

I just finished a sci-fi novel, Hiding Space by Linda Andrews the other day. It had pretty good action/adventure elements, but I got kind of confused with the socio-political details.

Now I'm reading a paranormal historical, Danube in Candlelight by Stephanie Burkhart.
