I'm not going to be a famous writer, I Garnette it, because my books are all somewhat Christian.

Cool.

What in the world? Garnette? That's not even a word. I typed guarantee.

message 104: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha.

It sucks, right. The stuff I write isn't exactly religious or pushing any political viewpoints [yet!:] but I guess, like any writer, it reflects part of me... Which I guess isn't your average [almost:] teenager. Which is what sells books, right?
Stephenie Meyer is a Mormon, I think. Apparently her books are full of hidden Mormon messages?

message 106: by [deleted user] (new)

No, they´re not Mormon at all, which is why she told the youth leaders to tell their girls to not read it.

message 107: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Yeah. Stephenie Meyer is a Mormon (LDS), but they are Mormon based...believe me.

Yeah, she did tell youth leaders that.

Hayden, are you Mormon?

message 108: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah, why?

message 109: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Just wondering. Funny, I answered that question the exact same way when someone asked me that. Yeah, I'm LDS too.

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

Nice.

message 111: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Yup. Do you live in Utah? If you do, you should totally go meet Brandon Mull, Shannon Hale, and Jessica Day George for me. ((Utah LDS authors who rock socks!))

message 112: by [deleted user] (new)

Jessica Day George and Shannnon Hale are LDS and live in Utah?

message 113: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Yeah. They are both Mormon, and I'm pretty sure they live in Utah...wait a sec, lemme check.

message 114: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay...

message 115: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Okay, I was close. Shannon Hale lives in Salt Lake, UT, and Jessica Day George lives in Boise, ID.

message 116: by [deleted user] (new)

Nice.

message 117: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Yeah. It's pretty awesome.

BYU!

(Actually, problem about BYU is that they have frickin' awful games. Pity.))

message 118: by [deleted user] (new)

Hate BYU...

message 119: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Fine. Be that way.

message 120: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry. Where do you want to go to college?

message 121: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Not sure. I love what my uncle did! He went to college in Brasil, then went BYU after. That's really cool, because you learn the language of a foreign country, then you go to BYU.

message 122: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments You?

message 123: by [deleted user] (new)

somehwhere on the East Coast. I just want to get out of here.

message 124: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Interesting! That's cool. East Coast is cool.

message 125: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah...

message 126: by [deleted user] (new)

I was thinking of maybe getting my Bachelor´s in BYU then going..somewhere...

message 127: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments That's a good idea. Something like that for me too. Except some foreign country would be cool. China or something, since I'm going to China anyway in a year.

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

Nice. What for?

message 129: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Why am I going to China? Well, firstly, to learn the language. Second, to have a cool experience, and third, maybe go to school there too.

Maybe Greece I could go instead. That would be awesome. But then again...they don't speak Chinese there..but they do Latin! That just might work! *runs off to go talk to parents*

Jordan, The Picture Magician (aka Probie) (thepicturemagicianakaprobie) | 2218 comments probably on the side, i could never make a living as an author.

Same, but I'll never give up writing

Me either.

message 135: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I would be something else and be an author on the side, too. Plus my books would never publish and I would fail in life.
