question on certain foreign editions

Man, we really need that pseudonym thing up and fixed.

EDIT: it's a toss-up...some of the Robb books have both names, and some just JD Robb.
The aka feature will be nice, but as Michael mentioned recently, it's definitely not an easy thing to set up.
Meanwhile, I think listing J.D. Robb as author #1 (and thus allowing the foreign editions to be combined with their English counterparts) and Nora Roberts on the second author line to aid in searching seems like the best compromise.
(J.D. Robb already has a note regarding that "author"'s identity.)

Roberts also writes books the "In Death" series under the name J.D. Robb. The issue I've come across is that when these books were published in other languages (or maybe just French) they are under Nora Roberts, not Robb. The covers show Nora Roberts as do the GR entries.
Which, A-makes them not combinable with their original editions and completely disassociates them with those books and the Robb name, and B-adds a pile of books to the Roberts combine page that is already very lengthy and slow to load.
What's the best way to handle these? I'm inclined to change them to list J.D. Robb in Author 1, and Nora Roberts in Author 2...but I can see that might cause confusion to the readers of those books since they read them as Nora Roberts.
Suggestions?
