Rebecca J Vickery (rebeccajvickery) Rowena, what a fantastic article. You find some of the best information to share with us. It is most impressive that these two very famous and busy people took time to get involved in the issue of piracy. And they seem to realize it affects several widespread industries and creators, not just a few rich companies.

Rebecca, I have to be honest, the credit should go to members of the authors-against...(piracy) groups.

I believe in this case, the Simon Cowell and Sir Terry Pratchett link was found by Lynne Connelly.

Sir Terry is widely pirated. Links to his books were on that evil "freebook" club on Yahoo.

In recognition of Sir Terry's good works, I think I'll add one or two of his books to our shelf here!

Rebecca J Vickery (rebeccajvickery) Definitely a joint effort then. Good job everyone. The article was very informative.

I think adding Sir Terry's books would be very appropriate.

And you know, a joint effort is exactly what it is going to take if we are going to see results and get the word out.

Comments are now closed on this article, but I suspect that there was enough interest shown, and the guardian will write about piracy again.
