Zachary It appears the group hasn't had much to talk about, so I think I'll start a new thread. Has anyone read Ed Viestur's new book K2: Life and Death on the World's Most Dangerous Mountain? I recently completed it and thought it was quite good. It was not only a gripping account of the history of accents on K2, but very educational for a new mountaineer, such as myself. It seems many people have read his earlier book No Shortcuts to the Top: Climbing the World's 14 Highest Peaks, and if you enjoyed it, you'll also really like K2. I'd recommend it for the general reader, and for mountaineers.
