I was hoping they would loose their heads and DIE.... lol

Like them much, huh??? LOL They are some evil women, aren't they? But that's what keeps IAD so interesting. We have to have vilans as much as we'll have heros, right?
Maybe they will mate with a demon or a werewolf? Like Sabine, they would need a strong male to straighten them out? Sabine was suppose to be evil before Rydstrom came into her life. So.... we'll see?
I soooo do love a good fight, like Mariketta and Bowen.
I love Mariketta and Bowen...... but I was Not fond of Sabine. I have a big problem with bitchy women.... there I go again... shooting my mouth off. And I am gona have to see sabine change a little more before I will like her. I know I am hard. I can see when a guy is bastardo and changes .... I can believe him more than when a female changes.... I will still look at her for a while with mistrust.
I know I AM BAD.
I know I AM BAD.

She's is technically an 'evil sorceress' so she kind of has to be 'bad' it is like part of her job description. If she became 'good' she would no longer be believable to me anymore. I love her just the way she is teehee.

LOL.... I know I know ... but you me I am OUT THERE..... remember I am the only one in the world who hates Scarlet O'hara. I live in my own little demented world.
HAHAHAHA!
Hun, Scarlet O' Hara is like Mac before Barrons (Not sure if you've read The Fever Series yet to get that LOL), so not a whole lot of people dig Scarlet and her 'spoiled girl' heroine routine. I wasn't found of her either!

Sabine has to "act" evil because according to her, that was how she was raised. But I think she's gonna come around more now that she's mated with Rydstrom. She and Lanthe only "acted" the evil parts to survive in that castile with Omort.
Look how not so evil Lanthe is turning out. With how she looked after Ruby while Carrow was trying to lure Malkom back with her. Lanthe also chose Carrow and Ruby over Ember and Portia during the escape out of the "facility" they were being held in.
I still love how Sabine scared the skin off everyone in the bar scene after Regine called her a tart...lol
Lindsey... I love Mac.... Scarlet is something entirely different for me. Scarlet is a selfish *****. I guess I shouldn't have read watched the movie before reading the book.
Nette
That's what I am hoping. I see hope for Sabine and I love Lanthe.
But I see no hope for Scarlet's character. And feel sorry for Rhett!

Taiyesha, I loved it too. I think it's near my favorites. I love all the books, but I think this one I love slightly more. I liked how they dealt with the language barrier, and I thought the sexual tension was very hot! I ended up loving Carrow and I didn't think I'd like her as a heroine. Man, I am crazy about this series!

DftD is one of my favorites too.

I did not care for Carrow before this book either but ended loving her and Malkom (the whole story). I think is my favorite book of the series.
Regin's book was good too!! Even though Malkom, Cadeon and Lachlain are my Faves... there was something about Declan that I really, really liked.

Be warned, he is not a nice guy. Talk about your tortured heroes!

I love the direction that the storyline seems to be taking and am looking forward to Regin and Declan's book. It will be interesting to see how Declan is redeemed given his actions in this book.

Malkom was such a tragic hero everything about his past was so awful :(
Can't wait tovget started on the next one but have no idea how things will turn out for poor Regin and Declan.

I will definitely give it another chance once the group re-read gets to that point!

You haven't heard one, yet, Lady D? Eep! By all means, pick your favorite for your B-Day and indulge yourself.
I usually get my audiobooks from the library, but unfortunately, they don't have any of the IAD books. :(

You can have them order them from other libraries for you. Just go talk to the librarian. I have gotten the first three books this way and also Lothaire.

Anyone else wondering what the future holds for Portia(Queen of Stone) and Emberine(the Queen of Flames), the evil sorceri? I know they are suppose to be rumored to be lovers but wouldn't it be something to see them mated, "blooded" or "attempted" with someone? Hmm, I wonder if we'll see them down line in the future again? The mention about them wanting to bring Ruby over their side has intrigued my interest a bit.
