Alex rang the bell as soon as Ally's watch showed 8:00.
Eli let out a sigh of relief, smiled and opened the door.
"Hey E-" Alex started before he was pushed aside by Ally. Ally took a long look at Eli. "Well...you don't look like a complete waste of my time." Ally declared.
Eli raised and eyebrow, "Well that's a start... now isn't it?!"
"Maybe." Ally said, then she pushed Alex back in front of her."Hey, Eli." Alex said, continueing his previous sentance.
Eli smiled again, "Hi Alex. You look really nice." all of a sudden she felt shy around him, "Here's my sis, Amanda." she said pushing her forward. Amanda gave Eli a look and stuck out her hand to be shaken.
Alex shook her hand out to shake, "So, you're the ciminal mastermind, huh?"
Amanda grinned and said, "Hey, it's what I do! So, your the boy my sisters been seeing, you're kinda cute...in a non-boyfriend way, totally." Eli smirked.
Alex laughed, "Um...thanks." "Well, of course he's cute." Alyy said teasingly. "Isn't that right?" her voice changed to a cooing, as if she were talking about how cute a baby was. Alex glared at her, which only caused her to laugh.
Eli had to laugh as well, "You are cute, Alex! In a non-babyish way."
"Ah, well you'll always look like a baby to me." Ally cooed again, laughing when Alex glared at her. That was what she lived for: teasing Alex. He made it so easy, and it was so funny. "Are you done, Ally?" he asked.
Ally tried to retain her laughter,and said, "Yeah, continue, pretend I'm not even here."
"Any way," Alex said, turning back to Eli. "You ready?" he asked.
"What do you think?" she asked annoyed, clearly dressed up in her best outfit. Amanda gave him a 'you shouldn't have went there' look.
"Yes?" Alex guessed. He didnt know. Why did she think he asked.Ally did not appreciate Eli's tone of vioce being used on her friend, but refrained from saying since this was Alex's date, she was just a bodygaurd of sorts. Ew.
Eli smiled, "Lucky guess!" she got her coat and headed out the door, "Bye Amanda, don't wait up for me!" she said blowing her a kiss.Amanda waved back, "Bye!! Have fun."
Alex sighed with releif. He had never been very good with talking with girls, and was glad that he hadn't messed anything up...too much.
Eli got outside and waited for Alex, "I'm really glad we're having this date." she said.
"Yeah, me too." Alex said smiling.Anderin watched from a few feet away, in the cover of bushes. Alex had the blonde brat with him. Why did she (ally) show up whenever he wanted to do something? It was utterly frustrating.
Eli sniffed the air and smelled another vampire nearby, she immediately got into the defensive.
Noticing Eli's reaction, Alex became alert, and he too noticed it. But not only that there was a vampire nearby. He recognized the smell. "Anderin, wont you just give up?" he asked."No." Anderin said stepping out of the bushes. Despite how slim his chances were, he lunged at Eli.
In a flash, Ally was in front of him, and it was as if Anderin had run into a wall. He couldn't get within two feet of her. He growled in frustration.
Eli put up her hands as to block him, but Ally was there in a flash. "Thanks." she responded, so Ally could she she wasn't so bad.
Ally nodded, but focused only on Anderin."You are getting really annoying. Why cant i kill you?" Anderin asked.
"Alas, that is something I know, and you will never find out." Ally said.
"You annoying brat. I will find out. Everybody has a weakness, and once I find yours there will be no hiding." With that, anderin left, faster than the eye could follow."Ally you never said you knew why he couldnt harm you." Alex said confused.
"It never came up. Now, go on with your date." Ally said.
Eli smiled to Ally, showing respect and thankfulness, than she found a bench to sit.
Alex sat next to her, thinking. It was ovious Ally didnt want to talk about it, and Alex wouldnt push her to, but that didnt stop his couriosity.Ally sat on a bench about ten feet away, and started talking to some guy that was there, all the while keeping a close eye on Eli, and their surroundings.
Eli started the convo, "So what should we do?"
"I dont really know. I dont generally do much." Alex said.Ally threw a small rock at him. "WHat?!" he asked her irritated.
"Animals." was all she said before going back to talking to whoever she was talking to.
Animals? Alex thought. "Oh! You want to see my friend? The squirrl?"
"Sure." Eli said shrugging, "Where at?"
"This way." Alex said as he stood up, and walked over to the tree he was in when they first met. "Vlad!" he called up the tree, and a small squirll came down. "This is Vladimir. Or Vlad." Alex said.
Eli chuckled, "Aww what a cute squirrel." She took the squirrel's paw in her hand as if to shake it's hand. "Nice to meet you Vlad. Name's Eli."
She's pretty
the squirl comunicated telepathically to Alex."He thinks your pretty." Alex told Eli.
Eli blushed, "Aww thanks. And you're very handsome!"
I like her Alex. Think you could put in a good word for me?
the squirl thought.Alex was so shocked he forgot to think it, instead he said it out loud, "No way Vlad. I hooked you up with that girly squirl the last time, and what did you do? You pushed her out of the tree!"
On accident
Eli blushed some more, "What is the squirrel saying?"
"Nothing. He just wants a date with you. Which would be a bad idea because he'll push you out of a tree." Alex said.It was an accident. Why wont you tell her that part?!
Because, she's MY date, not yours, so put your squirlly eyes back in their sockets. Alex thought back.
Eli grinned, "I'm flattered, but I'm going out with your friend, Alex, here." she said to the suirrel, "But you would be my second choice."
I knew I was on the list somewhere! In your face Alex!
the squirll thought."You know, I'm going to stop introducing you to people." Alex told the squirl.
No! The only people to talk to in this tree is the girl squirl, and we're not on speaking terms. Then there's you. Ally's cool, but she's weird. I need people to talk to that are...normal!
"I am normal, and Ally is not weird. Ever think that you're the weird one?" Alex said to the squirl.
Eli just looked at the two of them as they communicated.
I could never be the weird one because...I'm awesome! the squirl thought."You are the most self-centered squirl I've ever met. WHy do I hang out with you again?" Alex said aloud to the squirl.
I just told you. Because I'm awesome.
Alex rolled his eyes.
Eli saw the tension building up, "Okay, fellas! Calm down, and let us do a fun activity."
I'll do anything she wants. the squirl said staring dreamily at Eli."The squirl said he'll do anything you want, and I say whatever." Alex said glaring a little at Vlad.
Eli smiled a bit, "Okay, I say we play a friendly game of catch. You still have that ball, Alex?"
"Yeah I'll go get it." Alex said, turning around, but not before thinking Dont try anything funny to the squirl who just looked at him innocently.
Eli looked at the squirrel and smiled.
Alex came back with the ball. "Here." he said.
"That was fast." she said, catching the ball.
