"You know what? I don't like Anderin." Alex said pointedly."Anderin? How did this conversation turn to Anderin?" Ally asked.
"It turned to Anderin when you started liking him. Let's face it, Al. Anderin has issues." Alex said.
"So? Anderin's issues are no business of mine. Particularly because I dont like him. And he doesn't like me at all." Ally said.
"What makes you think that?" Alex asked, remembering how Anderin asked about her favorite color.
"Because he seems to hate everyone." Ally said.
Eli was glad Amanda understood her.
"Maybe..." Alex said. "But I think he's just cranky. So, back to the beginning. Will you be nice?"
Eli hugged her sister and had a huge grin on her face, "I love you, Amanda" she said, patting her blonde hair.Amanda hugged Eli back.
"Fine! I'll be nice. But I am not apologizing, so don't even think about it." Ally said.
"How about we go see a movie!" Eli said."But won't that risk your security?" Amanda said concerned.
"Security, blah! We're going to see a movie."
"You don't have to apologize. Now go to whatever antic you and Anderin have planned." Alex said."How do you know we had something planned?" Ally asked.
"Because you're both schemers." Alex answered as Ally walked away. The plan that night was to go demon hunting.
Eli handed Amanda her coat and headed out the door.
Alex stayed near Eli's house to make sure nothing tried to hurt her.
Eli and Amanda headed to the movie theatres.
Alex stayed outside the theater, watching.
Eli got two tickets to see "The Social Network". ((i really want to see this movie!))Amanda got popcorn for them both.
Alex paced outside the theater until the usher told him to buy a movie ticket or leave. He then started to circle the block.
They walked into theater 7 and sat in the middle.
As Alex walked, he heard a fight. Then, "Oh, you did not just say that!" and recognized Ally's voice. When he turned the corner, he saw Ally and Anderin fighting off a demon in the middle of an alley.
Eli was laughing at the funny parts while Amanda was concerned about her and Eli's sefety.
Once they had dispatched the demon - or, in other words, killed it - Alex asked, "What are you guys doing, exactly?"
Eli stopped laughing and watched the movie. She ate some popcorn as well.
"Well, while you're keeping your girlfriend safe, we took it upon ourselves to keep you safe." Ally said."Even you, Anderin?" Alex asked.
Anderin shrugged. "Have to make sure no one kills you before I do, don't I?"
((lol Anderin's funny))The movie finished and Eli said she needed to go to the restroom. Amanda waited for her outside.
((he tries))"Well...stay safe." Alex said as he started walking, coming to the front of the theater again, thinking, They are a strange pair.
Eli came out and Amanda and her headed out the theater.
Alex stayed hidden and near, and Ally and Andrin stayed hidden and near him.
Eli suggested they get ice cream. Amanda followed her to the ice cream truck.
Alex, while dodging a falling tree branch, accidentally bumped right into them, before bouncing back and slamming against the ice cream truck.
Eli was startled and held her hand to her heart. When she realized it was just Alex she waved hi to him. Amanda did the same.
Alex, regaining his balance, waved. "Hey guys." he said.
"Hey, Alex. Surprise seeing you here, want some ice cream?" Eli offered.
Alex shook his head. "No thanks, I'm good."
"Okay. So what you doing here?" she asked, handing Amanda a cone as she retrieved her own and paid for it. Amanda licked her ice cream.
"Just...you know..." Alex sighed "I'm making sure you don't get hurt."
"That's sweet, but remember we talked about this. You don't have to protect me if you don't wanna, I'm a big girl." Eli took a bite out of the ice cream cone.
"I know that. But there are some big guys, and even bigger demons. Plus it's not like I followed you all the way into the theater. I have more dignity that that. I just waited outside for the - whole - two - hours...well, anyway, I want to help, Eli." Alex said.
Eli looked at him warm-heartly and nodded, "I know you do Alex. It's just that friend of yours, Ally, that's holding you back." Eli finished her ice cream cone. Amanda finished her ice cream.
"Ally? She's not holding me back from doing anything...actually she's helping me in her own, strange way." Alex said.
"Yeah, whatever. So, you wanna go do something? get your mind off of this demon stuff?"
"I don't know. Something, whatever." Eli shrugged.Amanda just stood there.
"Sure." Alex said shrugging. "Question is, what?"
Eli thought hard, "Want to go back to the park we met in? I bet Vlad is desperate to see me." she said, remembering the squirrel.
Alex smiled. "I'm sure he is. Let's go."
Eli smiled back at him and followed him. Amanda in tow, "Who's Vlad?" she asked Eli.
"A squirrel with a crush on me." she smiled.
Vlad bounced up as soon as he saw them.
Can I have your girlfriend yet?
he asked Alex.No way. Alex replied.
Eli smiled at Vlad when she saw the squirrel.Amanda just stood there.
"I'd watch your back, Eli. He still wants to try to date you." Alex said.
"Sorry, Vlad. I'm taken." she said to the squirrel.
Fine, but you don't know what you're missing. I'm really quite the party animal.
Vlad said."Um, he said 'fine, but you don't know what you're missing. I'm really quite the party animal.'" Alex translated.
Eli laughed, "I bet you are Vlad. But hey, there's plenty of squirrels in the trees." she smiled.
And if I don't want a squirrel? What if I'm looking for a wolf?
Vlad said.Alex translated that too.
Amanda nodded approval.
